I don’t know why but I ALWAYS love shows the most during their second season. It seems like so often they get shit together in the second season but blow it up if they make it to the third and have to start all over again.
Season 4 was an improvement but some of the stories still kind of sucked. Actually, anything flashback related not Ben, Desmond, Sayid and to a lesser extent Juliet kind of sucked this season. Locke made a bit of a comeback last season from being a complete waste of life to somewhat respectable. So overall a much better season then 3 but I still miss Eko.
I just got done with all 4 seasons within a 3 week span haha (all on abc.com), at first i just gave it a shot just for the fuck of it and glad i did, shits a trip (except s3, the last eps were good tho)

And boo for jack for seemingly being “the one” i cant stand that foo. him and kate. I hope jacks reason to go back would be something like, “ah there you are jack, glad you came back. yeah, we need to sacrifice your blood to the island, for the sake of mankind… now, wheres smoke monster?”
and something occured to me while i was watching the last eps of season 4, i forgot which ep but it was jack, locke, hurley, ben and sawyer going to the orchid or someshit, might be the cabin i forgot, but anyways…
Seriously no! LoL. In the trailer to season 5 you can see words flash by quickly. Of course youtube sucks for freeze framing but I think the first thing that showed up when they focused on Jack was “Don’t Come Back”.
I was obsessed with this show until midway season 3. I could never back into it and I don’t have time to watch all the episodes I missed, so I guess I’m lost.
Now I’ll be honest… a few :sad: slipped out… I restarted watching @ ep 17 of S3 and wasn’t too impressed by the eps leading up to “Through the looking glass” but now the show has my attention again. I forgot how addicting it this show can be.

Yeah he and Sayid are prob my fav male characters, this episode was just fucking amazing in every sense of the word. This really is the most engaging Television I’ve ever watched(though I don’t really watch a lot of TV but still). So glad I picked this back up.
Sayid is just too beast. He is one of my favorite characters in the story. None of his flashbacks were boring. The only characters that kinda annoy me though is the asian couple. Too complicated…
I just hope this season explains WTF that cloud monster is. Supposedly everything that is happening in the show can somewhat happen in real life at least according to JJ. But this was during season 1 and he left midway to make Misson Impossible 3 and never came back. So I dunno if that shit holds true. That and…

The fucking island going falling into some sort of time portal bullshit and it disappears? Yeah ok because disappearing islands happen all the time in real life… :mad:
Seriously, I thought the exact same thing every time their story came up. That was pretty much the only character flashbacks I could have done without. Other than that, everyone else’s was very interesting.
I’ve forggotten quite a bit but was it ever confirmed if the Cloud monster IS a type of self defense mechanism or at the very least, something the dharma initiative people used to protect themselves from the original inhabitants?
About to start ep 8 now, will finally know what happened to Michael I’m assuming.
