there are actually clues that point to Vincent being the black smoke monster. weird theories ahead!
season 1 episode 1 when the monster first made it’s “appearance” Walt’s VERY FIRST LINE was “is that Vincent?” when the monster was knocking down trees in the jungle. Walt isn’t stupid and there’s no way someone could mistake something knocking down trees as their dog unless their dog could actually do that.
also if Walt has powers, then he may have been subconsciously controlling Vincent; just like he can get the weather to stop whenever he wants; just like he always wins at Backgammon; just like he could speak through the computer to communicate with Michael.
on the other hand, Walt could have been subconsciously controlling the black smoke monster only while he was on the island, because when he was around, it didn’t kill anyone- except in the first episode when PSYCOP from HEROES was playing the pilot and he got shredded. but that could be explained that Walt was stressed out. the BSM remained relatively calm and peaceful after that. until Walt got kidnapped. then the monster went buck wild.
also, when ever the black smoke monster appeared, Vincent previously had run away.
I haven’t watched any of the new eps since the break. Is it worth it? I have the last 3 seasons of 24 to watch, like 10 movies on my laptop to get to, the last episode of Day Break whenever it comes out online… a lot of competing stuff for my tv/movie time. Is Lost still worth it or what?
I’ve finally decided to drop lost. I watched the hurley-centric episode last night and it was just so dull and stupid I just saw the show dying in front of me.
Maybe when they announce the final season I will pick it back up but until then I know Im not missing much.
Klugh: Mikhail. Mikhail! You know what to do.
Mikhail: We still have another way [out].
Klugh: We cannot risk it. You know the conditions.
Mikhail: There is another way.
Klugh: They captured us. We will not let them to get into the territory.
Klugh: You know what to do. That’s an order.
Mikhail: We still have another way!
Klugh (in English): Just do it, Mikhail.
Mikhail: Forgive me. (shoots)
Damn when is Brain K. Vaughn going to start writing for this show, the episodes this season seriously need him. The last couple have been okay, but they haven’t had the same punch as previous seasons.
Claire’s Flashback
[details=Spoiler]Man, I have been suspecting something between Claire and Jack’s father since season 1. But I at first thought that he was the one to knock her up.
The sonic death fence was cool, but I’m not feeling the knock over a tree route they have used to evade it. [/details]
