this show needs to end because they’ve LOST the magic. seriously, the last 2 seasons you got to the end of an episode and you were all “oh shit, can’t wait 'til next week.” now you’re like “oh shit, that sucked. maybe next week won’t suck as much”
they need to follow prison break’s formula. that show nearly always moves the plot forward and leaves you wanting more
Sadly I have to agree. Last nights episode was pretty damn weak.
Only thing that was nice about it was the fact that the Thai girl Jack was running around with was pretty good looking. Outside of that I wasn’t overly impressed, nor interested.

Agreed, Desmond is indeed the new ‘living embodiment of the truth’ character on the show. Although one thing I liked about the last episode, is that it did at least show, that the Others don’t kill all of their captives.
I still like the series, although I am starting to see why people are pissed. Compared to the previous seasons, individual episodes don’t have nearly as much resolution or note worthy story content.
More I think about it, last week’s was probably a reference to the viewers to sit down and shut up.

This ep. was weak as fuck, imo. Jack backstory is so boring and Kate is way overexposed.
I think some of the problem they are leaving so many loose ends. Stuff people want answers too, but we never get them.
At the start the story was so crazy but it looked like everything was tied in. Now it just kind of seems like they are just making shit up on the fly and leaving stuff they didn’t think was working out or couldn’t come up with a good explanation.

Looks like they’re going to mixing some self-contained episodes along with some plot advancement episodes a la season 1. Overall this episode was just average.
At least next week’s episode looks good. New Dharma station and they meet up with Sagat.
