they all died whenever they died. Jack died at the end. All the people on the plane got off and died whenever. hurley and ben could of protected the island for 1,000 years or 2. no one knows. christian said it in his speech how some died now, some later on, some earlier. time in the alt universe doesn’t act like how we perceive time.
real. everything on the island happened
i believe it’s along the lines of all your close friends will be there waiting for you in heaven. while jack might of known these people they weren’t really his close friends so he wasn’t going to cross over to heaven with them. the group of people at the end all had a strong bond to one another and all were crossing over together.
the same way the lost people found their way back to the island. that lamp post place in los angeles with the swinging pendulum
No, the numbers were written next to the “candidate’s” names in the lighthouse, kind of like longitudinal coordinates. It’s the direction Jacob needed to point the mirror to see them. They appeared all over the island to kind of hint to that I suppose.
I really enjoyed the ending thought it was well made and well paced. I felt like cheering whenever someone remembered alternate life on the island lol.
I wasn’t confused by who was and wasn’t in the church, like someone said it all seemed to be people Jack was closely tied to, although I really don’t remember much if any relationship he had with Boon
Glad Sayid found happiness, and Kate made up for herself by wearing that little black dress :wow:
One thing I was confused about was sayid and shannon. Sayid’s whole story was about him and the other chick. Shannon was just a hook up on the island haha
They’re significant in the fact that it was how Jacob brought (or guided) them to the island. Just because Jack and the rest didn’t really care about the numbers other than being a weird coincidence doesn’t mean they weren’t important or had no significance to the whole story.
hah yeah thats what i thought. Or maybe its all about what Jack thinks. Like everyone gets his own afterlife with whoever they want in it, and this was just how Jack saw things.
I think the ending fit the show well. There are still some unanswered questions, but I think using your imagination is a big part of the whole show in the first place.
wasn’t there one? they removed the light, killed man in black, jack replaced the light, jack died, all the others left the island to live their lives, hurley became the island protector with ben helping him
did you want to see 1,000 years worth of hurley and ben bringing people to the island and finding candidates to replace them? claire and kate (they did look at each other weird on the plane) lesbo’ing out and raising aaron together?
i thought the ending was much better than it could have been but in general i hate it when shows get religious.
i thought it was a could curve ball bringing purgatory back into it without it being the island.
i liked how at the end ,the show is called lost but they were all ‘found’ .
