The LOST thread

cause being part black=not black at all.

real talk though when christian was going to open the door to the church at the end i was like if there’s an insane amount of light reppin heaven there imma turn this off right now

and it was but i didn’t. they called my bluff

I agree with tihs

LOL @ Black people not being allowed into the afterlife! I do have to admit that I was a little disappointed that Michael got the shaft by getting stuck on the island as one of those damn whispering ghosts.

My sister’s theory is that this was all about Jack’s life and after life and all the people who played an important role in his life. It would make sense why a lot of the people who weren’t in the church because they really didn’t have an impact on his life, otherwise the place would be packed with all the passengers from the plane.

Still… I was hoping for a Mr. Ekco appearance.

As for season finales go, it wasn’t bad… kinda lazy, but at least it didn’t make me yell “WHAT THE FUCK??!” Like the BSG and Sopranos finales.

lol you sure thats her theory or not just what she heard from kimmel 10 min ago?

Wrong, Jack was obviously one the main focuses of the show but all of them impacted each other which is why they’re all there together to go through the pearly gates. Micheal was obsessed with leaving the Island and did what ever it took to get out, he didn’t deserve to be there with them he didn’t grow with those characters.

I really thought that was an awesome finale to Lost, and I wasn’t disappointed at all with how things turned out. Though this entire season up until now has been nothing short of dreadful, I really thought this finale was well thought out, and very satisfying to conclude an amazing show.

No idea what the show is about, or how it ended, but I have a question.

Have they ever said if the whole thing written up ahead of time, or did they just make up shit, including the ending, as they went along?

They made shit up.

Ending was sad, though. If Jack is dead, who’ll play Racer-X in Speed Racer 2?

Worst mother fucking show ever worst mother fucking ending ever. Fuck this shit. Fuck this godamn show.

then what was the chick that was hugo’s girlfriend doing there in the church then? she wasn’t a major part of jack’s life. they were oddball about who would end up in church. what? they couldn’t reunite everyone from previous seasons?

n it would have been cool if mr. ehco would have been the priest at the church.
oh well.
it was a sweet ending, but nothing was ever really answered, lets face it.
now that i think about it…i don’t think they were dead or had died in sideways universe.
i think sideways universe was the “fix what was broken a.k.a island universe” and thats it.
simple as that.

still like the Prisoner tv show ending better though.

whats with the formatting of your post? seems weird.

/bangs head against the wall

so thats the thumping i keep hearing, comin through the walls.

cut it out will ya, its 2:30 in the morning! people are sleeping yunno.

as for me…i’m just gonna pretend that the one who was shiprecked on a deserted island for the past 6 years was me, and that i missed the Lost series in its entirety.

“wha, wha?”

“whaddaya mean d red sox won tha world series?!?!?”

“when did this happen?” “4 years ago?!?!”
“they overcame the curse of the Bambino?”
“i don’t believe it!”“prove it to me by wheeling in a tv with the last winning game on video…then i’ll believe it!”

This show needs the Atari ET treatment. Christ almighty.

Y’all crazy. That ending was beautiful. A lot of people are getting hung up on the unanswered questions of the island, but it seems the show was more about the characters and their journey.

I personally loved the way it ended. I know there’s a lot of hate but I feel that it was the only way to end the show.

I think they chose to end it in a way where there will be the LEAST about of hate…

Where are the kids?

Like it or not, while the show was about the characters initially, over time it became as much about the island itself as it was about them.
