No, Vincent lived with old black lady with cancer and her wrinkly old white husband in the 70’s. We don’t know what happened to them post explosion, but it’s assumed they are the ones whose remains are in the cave. I’ll stop watching this show if they do a Vincent flash sideways episode.
Last 2 episodes have been pretty crap. Lost started good then it tried to get too “deep”, and now it’s trying to dig itself out with a spoon. Be sure to look for a really lame open ended final episode if they can’t figure out what to do.
IMO a show should have a simple but memorable plot. I barely remember what happened throughout the past few seasons. I know they crashed, then they found the Dharma base, then there were the others, and Ben, and the smoke, and the other guy that Ben killed. Then they get rescued, and Jack says they gotta go back, and then it shows what their life woulda been if they hadn’t crashed, and Locke turns into the smoke, and they stick the The Last Samurai guy in cause he’s cool, and now they’re trying to make it some cheesy God vs Devil thing.

You forgot all of the subplot of Ben never letting Juliet be anyone’s but his, much less whoever it is she looked so much like. Oh, and when Jack saved Ben’s life. Don’t forget that we STILL don’t know who actually controlled the Dharma initiative. Ann Arbor? Really? Why exactly couldn’t the smoke monster just move the island and be forced to leave like Locke and Ben did? Desmond is still not in the show. I used to have so much faith in this show and it’s really dropping the ball. Episode about the most “mysterious” character on the show (Richard) and all it did was reveal Jack (not the character) and Shit. Thinking about this is making me sad/angry.
My point exactly…they threw all this crap in that it’s become a forgettable heap. Last week’s episode was a joke…the fact that they have to hype their shit up is sad…OOOOOH most mysterious character!!! Dude, Richard is a crap character, he’s got no charisma. The whole Peter Pan + love of his life thing was super cheddar. Prolly worst episode ever…
Yeah, it certainly wasn’t very good. 20 minutes of him chained inside of that ship alone. Way to use the precious time we have. What’s worse is it was all shit we knew, other than his wife getting owned, but honestly, who cares? And the whole “Light vs. Dark” theme they’re trying to get everyone with is bullshit. It takes all of the good sci-fi aspects of the show and shits on them.

I expected so much more from that richard episode. It was a decent episode but we didnt learn anything new…other than jacob bringing people there to prove that not every man is corruptable and how richard never ages. And that the island is what keeps “evil” away from the outside world.
This episode wouldve been okay if this was from last season, but cmon, we’ve only got a few episodes left now =/

Vincent is the dog right…? if they did an episode about it…i can gaurantee that that episode would probably answer more questions than any of the other characters lol
yeah. He’d be a stray that happened to be be near all of the main characters as shit was going down.

lol I’m kinda liking the idea of a vincent episode, it would be better than a Hugo episode.
40 minutes of shakey cam and chasing rabbits sounds more interesting than seeing Jin and Sun’s episode this week!
So, being that tonight’s episode has Sun in it, is it pretty much agreed that the episode is destined to be more trash, right? I haven’t liked an Episode about Sun since Season… well, I’ve hated them all. At least Kate Episodes usually have Jack or Sawyer in them. Fuck, I don’t care about Sun and Jin getting back together. Frankly I want one of them to die already, and preferably not Jin. Asian men have proven themselves useful and often comical in this series where the one Asian woman has done nothing my make me fast forward. Am I alone in this?
Only thing I’m looking forward to about this ep is the prospect of having the merc part of the story (Jin was locked in his freezer).
sun is easily the worst character in lost. I cant believe she lasted THIS long. there is no one I hate more than sun. not even chawlee.

I can agree that Kate/Claire episodes are the worst but Jin/Sun episodes… they just… neither of them have mattered since season 1. IF they end up running the island as Husband and wife or their Son is the new Jacob, I’m gonna be super pissed.
I always thought that Jin would be a bigger character in this series because of his background in criminal activities. He knows how to fight, he knows how to shoot and he has proven himself to be ruthless from time to time. But I feel like the koreans are just there for no reason chilling with people and minding their business most of the time.
