Im sorry if this has been asked but I didnt have a lot of time to read the entire thread. Will normal dust washers fit the stick or is it wider at that area of the base?
It’s not necessary to read the entire thread. The answer is on the very first page in the very first post: “The diameter of the center collar is perfect size so that you can keep your current dust washer, however the shaft cover will have to go!”

Yeah, I’d prefer if you send the two tops back my way first though. The reason being that since these bases were fixed via manual grinding of the taper and the tolerances aren’t dead on, so I need to find a base the works well with the top. If you’re cool with that I can PM you my address.
Oh yeah, I had plans to work on other stuff up and coming but this along with planning for events is just going to eat my time. It’s all good though, should be a lot of fun, especially when these all ship out.
