new question: The shaft itself is a bit thicker then a regulair sanwa jfl with dust cover or did you try to keep it the same size?
I’m sure Clayton can work something out just PM your needs I believe he only has colored ones right now so keep that in mind.
I think most people just take a small piece of sand paper and sand the inside of the dust cover its like a 1mm or less it wont take but a minute to adjust
Do you need a bulk of the colored variants or just standard silver? If you need silver ones I can work a bulk order with you or you can get them from FA once they’re back in stock (should be mid-this week I’d imagine).
I have silver ones left, but I am running short on stock overall (colored and standard both) so I’m going to start moving on getting the next run ready… haven’t decided how exactly I’m going to do that just yet.
PS - Once I’m out, it may be a little bit here before I can even have them available again. If you’re interested I suggest getting one now. FA should have 30 in their restock, then I have about 30’ish silver ones left.

Having a problem with a link I got. When I was putting on the ball top and tightening it with the allen wrench a spring from the base came out and is now sticking out on the top part by the balltop, rendering the base from staying shut. Can anyone help?
Just spin the collar counter clockwise (i believe) it should put the spring back into place. The c clip usually spins enough for that to not happen but the coating is probably adding some friction
I tried doing that and the springs shape got disoriented and misshaped. Is it possible to just replace the spring?
you can pop the c-clip off and readjust the spring is it a powder coated top section if so you may want to cover the top section above the c-clip with electrical tap so it does not get scratched up by the spring/c-clip
there’s no need for a new spring those clips can be a pain but if you work with it you should be able to get it.
Managed to get the C clip off now i’m just faced with the problem of readjusting the spirng back to its original size. It stretched a bit at the to when I tried to work with it so it giving me a tough time.
the stretching should be fine just make sure the the top section of the spring has not expanded so it can slip over the c-clip
Well I ended up just trimming off the screwed up part of the spring with my wire cutters and then put it back together. Still works like a charm the only part is that there are a bit of chipped areas of the coating and the tape took off some too. Might have to get it to you eventually to fix the coat.
The top part of my link is kinda broken, as the spring is out 
(a friend pulled up too hard and it came out…) anyways I was wondering if it was fixable or if I should just buy a new one?
It’s fixable, a pic would be good though. Worst case you can remove the c clip and then reset it. Otherwise just holding the spring and turning the collar will likely slink it back into place.
