Picked one up myself. I travel so much with my joystick, this will definitely help. If I end up loving it, I’ll pick another one up in the second run for a second TE stick. 
Ninja edit: This also is a GREAT way to keep your stick from being stolen at tourneys, come to think of it. Whenever you leave your stick around, detach the stick and pocket it. Then no one can even use it so no one will be tempted to “borrow” it and accidentally hold onto it without you knowing.

Curious to know if a Sanwa Bat Top will work with this? The bottom of the bat top hangs lower than ball tops and covers the shaft a bit. Will that get in the way of disconnecting the top half in terms of not being enough room to pull it up?
