Yella is always on point (I think not enough cats are hip) but Lil B, knows how to hold his own for the most part. Honestly if someone like Phonte took B under their wing and helped him get his lyrical chops up, then he would be untouchable (well he already is, but you know what I mean)

I don’t know, I think the whole “based” movement is all (no pun here) based off Lil B’s ability to hype something up. Be it “Shoot the Bitch Bra” or “Bill Bellamy” (Which I do admit is quite catchy) are really hype. Then you have songs like “Frankie Silver” and his entire “I’m Gay” album where pretty good as well. All in all, he’s not terrible but from a rap/hip-hop POV he could use some work. From a person who listens because it is hype, I wouldn’t change it. I enjoy the offbeat thing he brings to a beat and overall flow.
