Yea no problem man. have fun with it. Games wonderful. It’s graphical style still blows me away to this day. It’s so colorful, vibrant and realized in much the same way as super Metroid.
Must’ve changed the thread name because I don’t ever remember posting in a Zelda bowling thread before.
yeah I did…Spirit Tracks had come and gone so I wanted to reference to Skyward Sword.
I’m finally done with Spirit Tracks.
I love it when you are in the dark realm to destroy the 6 evil trains and get the invincibility. Especially when you blow the whistle. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Sonichuman, what was the thread called before you changed it to a SS reference?
Well I’m playing Ages right now and plan to do Seasons next. I personally think that these were the best games to have for GBC.
skyward sword is bringing back bombachu bowling? Where’d you get that info?
no…you can actually literally ‘bowl’ the bombs now along with doing the standard toss. I’m pretty sure this mechanic is going to come into play for sections of the game if the current way of specific slicing on enemies is any indication. does quick search for example They show it in JAXpzKIAg9w#t=1m32s"]this walkthrough and they even reference it in .
Honestly, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a bomb bowling minigame in Skyward Sword.
I’ll be really pissed if isn’t in Skyward Sword.
Skyward Sword takes place before Ocarina of Time. Stumbled across this informationwhen I was looking for something else on NeoGaf.
Soooooo…does this put Skyward Sword as the first Zelda game timeline wise now? I still don’t even wanna try to attempt to put them together for fear of my head asploding.
I completed LTTP yesterday, and do all Zeldas not save after you defeat the final boss?
Yup. Last save is always before the last boss fight.
posted this in the DS thread but it should probably go here too. Some non direct feed of OoT 3DS

Seeing Link running so smoothly is throwing me off since I’m so used to him stepping heavily.
I know I am a Nintendo fanboy because I am pumped for OoT 3D, but I always rage when people mention FF7 Remakes/Spinoffs.

Still no trailer for OoT3D though…guess we’ll have to wait till E3 for that. Can’t wait to have to memorize all the notes of the songs all over again. Did anyone else refuse to try to go into the pause menu to remember the songs and instead tried to play them by ear if you remembered how the song went?
Edit:
Nintendo is also goint to celebrate the 25th anniversary of LoZ in some fashion but haven’t exactly stated what yet.
I suppose you can speculate away. More than likely I believe it will be another collection but I wonder which games will be included in it this time around since they already did LoZ 1, 2, OoT, and Majora’s Mask in one collection or even which system it will show up on.
I think Minish Cap is the first game right now. Because the Link in that game gets the hat. Which is the precursor to all of the Links down the line wearing the hat. There’s other reasons but that’s the main one.
Nintendo did say Ocarina of Time was the first game, but they said that before Minish Cap came out. Some people say Four Swords happens before Ocarina too, after Minish, but that’s where things start to get confusing.
Ocarina is still the most important game in the series storyline-wise. It’s the one that splits the timeline into two different realities and created this gigantic cluster fuck. LOL well Skyward happening before Ocarina means before the time split.
I’m hella late but Happy 25th Birthday Link, Zelda and Ganon! :woot:

Kotaku had an article with this video clip in it and the guy basically just comes out and says it like it was common knowledge or something. If that was info he wasn’t supposed to let slip then it’s too late for him…he’s already dead.
I finally got around to finishing up Phantom Hourglass and started into Spirit Tracks. Phantom Hourglass was pretty fun overall but I found the last boss to be a bit underwhelming. Events that took place during it though were pretty nice. Spirit Tracks I’m enjoying a bit more than Phantom Hourglass. I think it probably has to do with actually using the flute which I heard a number of people complained about it. I’ve found it to be pretty easy to use and even though at first it was a bit awkward for the first few seconds…then it was natural. I don’t know if I’ll still feel the same way as I progress (I’m heading towards the 3rd temple now).
IGN has a comparison article on Old OoT vs. 3DS OoT that mostly compares what they’ve done visually with the game. No more tree walls and the thought that link now looks closer to the artwork that they had for OoT back then…specifically the boots. I’m really liking all the little changes they’re making to this.
Incase you didn’t read it in the 3DS thread…OoT will be released June 19th
