TP is oook it has a few moments but overall it’s pretty low on my list ,so yeah i think SS is way better.
as for OOT on the 3ds it’s good but idk how to feel about this game anymore since i’ve played it sooo much.
it doesn’t even feel like a zelda game anymore. i still love it and believe that it’s one of the greatest games i’ve ever played ,but i guess i’ve shot this one up too many times it’s lost it’s effect.
I still remember the first time i faced Ganon. The music, the setting, and how you could only sees his glowing yellow eyes in the darkness struck fear into my heart ,but with everything i had faced and navi by my side i would face this demon with everything i had despite this fear. it is in that moment i truly learned the meaning of courage.
Have I even mentioned how much I love Pop Fiction?
Pop Fiction Episode 9: Fire Temple Music
They updated this one that they did awhile back with new information. Nintendo actually got back to them and it actually wasn’t public outcry that caused them to change the music. It was actually Nintendo prep timing it.
Possibly talking about me since besides genesis sonic’s ST and ME are my absolute favorite games. Anyways I’m on the last temple of OOT3DS soo fucking good it deserves it’s reputation IMO.
Still never beat Phantom Hourglass, not a fan of the time limit on dungeons but the stylus combat is sexy so it works I guess.
I beat OoT a few times but not since it came out so it’s been years since I played it, I remembered most of the puzzles, but that damn water temple forced me to gamefaqs.
There’s a Zelda animated webseries in the works that’s going to be based off of ALttP Manga and Game
and it will supposedly have famous VA’s as well like Vic Mignogna and Kirk Buckland. They’re getting funding through kickstarter and a Trailer for it will get released in a few weeks.
We know how protective Nintendo is of Zelda so I’m wondering if they’ll shut this down during it’s production or demand that it be taken down after it’s done.
So,me and a couple of friends finally got our hands on Skyward Sword the other night. My one sentence review would have to be: “SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME PLAY YOU STUPID CONSTANT WALL OF TEXT!!”
In TP I don’t think I had constant mini-tutorials for stuff keep coming up and damn near everyone I talked to telling me every few steps I took that I needed to save the world. lol
We didn’t get too far. I will be honest and say that I shouldn’t really criticize the entire game when I haven’t played all the way through. We didn’t even complete the first dungeon. After the constant walls of text and the lack of really being able to actually get to “play the game” we kinda just lost interest in it. The wii motion plus stuff was cool though.
The beginning of TP was one big ass tutorial. Probably at least what…1-2 hours worth maybe? I’m talking about all the way up to the point when Link takes that cold clock to the back of the skull and shit starts getting real.
Skyward Sword’s beginning doesn’t take as long. The only real blemish I could say about SS is John Madden sitting over your shoulder throughout the game lol.
So wind waKer is my favorite. Mostly because jowbthe story ties past and present together well, The feeling of open expanse exploration, Unique graphic style that fits the music amazingly and How the characters develop. Imo it’s one of the best, Its a simplistic take on a classic with amazing side quest amid dungeons. It reminds you of the enjoyment of just playing a Zelda game instead of gimics like “motion” sword attacks or a oot remake basically ( looking at you twilight princess ). Wind waker is highly underrated. How many either Zelda games tell the story and legends of the past and connect you to the land of what was and now why it is a water barren. When you complete a quest or defeat a dungeon you actually feel like you’ve changed the peoples life’s. Wind waker will forever be my favorite Zelda game.
Plus you ride a fucking boat, You fight pirates and explore islands. Giant sea monsters attack you and so do old mystic frogs.
I don’t think Wind Waker is underatted…now at least. It fell into the Zelda cycle that people have started to realize is going on. The only 2 blemishes that I could see on that game while looking back on it from a gameplay stand point was the difficulty was a bit low and the infamous Triforce hunt. And really the only thing that really hurt the Triforce hunt for me was fucking Tingle. His outrageous prices for the maps combined with having to come back to him without there being a warp relatively nearby to his position made it a hassle.
Other complaints like having too much of a vast open space with ‘nothing to do’ is going to be a matter of preference from person to person. Riding around on the boat was fun for me especially with the graphical artstyle and actually looking around for unmarked islands to explore gave me an excuse to actually set sail and just look around.
Wind Waker is also going to be one of those games that 20 years from now people will look back on and say it still looks good.
Also going to throw this in here

I haven’t really been keeping an eye on the olympics but hearing about this was pretty awesome. Supposedly from what I heard she only got 35 place though…insert joke about Ganon being one of the judges here
Music came from this just in case someone hasn’t seen it yet
