I’d like to see more sub bosses scattered around. A giant Poe or Ghini would be cool…or have certain areas sprout redeads in areas like near ruins or the castle while the desert can spawn gibdos.
Mostly normal with a little bit of Pro. This post just reminded me of the Pro HUD actually, haha. Now that I got the map unlocked, I should probably go pro again.
God damn, I just tried to do a major test of strength shrine near Hateno Bay and all my weapons broke before I could defeat the enemy. I’m starting to really feel the challenge in this game.
After finishing Persona 5 I started playing this game. I’m not very far. I got the paragilder and have to talk to Impa about the photos. So far I completed about 14 shrines and activated three towers. I found a giant fairy but I got no rupees. Weapon durability is the only thing I hate so far.
It will be less of a factor as you continue. Im at the point now where I have too many to choose from and kinda almost wish some of the ones I have would break so I dont have to make the choice of deciding to let go of stuff in my inventory.
Yeah that has been a very standard complaint from pretty much everyone I know who has played Zelda, that they didn’t like the weapons durability thing in general, but as they went on it becomes a non issue and then you have the dilemma of what to drop because you run into so many cool weapons but don’t have slots for them all.
Yeah but I can only hold so many, lol. I literally went through my entire arsenal and the enemy was still alive. And I couldn’t just go pick up another weapon inside the shrine. I’m still early in the game though, and learning the mechanics.
If you have freeze arrows use them on them as you get crit damage when you attack frozen enemies. If your weapon is about to break and you have a general good feeling for how many more whacks it can take before it disintegrates then don’t be afraid to toss it for what you believe to be the last hit. Tossed weapons that break do crit plus extra damage.
Like necro said though if you really want to be a boss and save your weapons then you need to learn the parry timing on the laser. You can go in a fight with a guardian with just wooden pot lid, 3 hearts, and your bathing suit if you are a parry god.
Also…find more Korok seeds. I mean it goes without saying cause you can take probably 3 steps nearly in any direction and you may stumble on them but investigate any area that looks off, out of place or just weird. No stone unturned definitely and quite literally applies to them.
I forgot about the fucking arrows, lol! I was locked into thinking I had to do a melee battle. God damn, I really needed to start thinking outside the box with this game or I’m going to fail miserably.
