The Legend of Zelda thread - Ganon's bodyshop will be open for business on Nov. 20th

Extreme paragliding!

Was fighting two zombie Lizalfos today. When I killed the first one, its headless body ran over to the second one, picked up its head and put it on its own body.

This game, man.

Throw their arms. Stalizalfos arms are like boomerangs.

Got my shiny new capture card yesterday, figured I’d test it out by making a guide video for Breath of The Wild. Give it a watch if you’re interested!

I figured I’d do a quick one and show people how to get the climbing gear, considering how useful it is. No spoilers in this, either.

Good shit, Martian.

Yo… Frozen enemies take 3X damage from attacks, and Sneak strikes do 8X damage. Combine that with bonuses from food and armor sets, and there’s not much in the game that won’t go down in a hit or two.

There does seem to be a damage cap, though… The guy I was watching couldn’t get higher than 2630 output on a Shrine Guardian that had about 7000 health.

Finally met everyone’s Zora Husbando. I don’t like his VA at all.

Of course you dont.

I recently accidentally used a fire lizalfos to finish off a Molduga. He was barfing fire at me and I walked to the other side of the Molduga that I had just brought to the surface with a bomb. Lol

I was watching some guy get a Talus to fight a Guardian.

Didn’t end well for the Talus…

Which just proves how good it is. :coffee:

I can see why everyone would love Sidon. That pose, that smile. He’s like, the broest character in the entire of the LOZ series. Dat team up with him to assault Ruta was lit! Ruta was a clever, clever dungeon. Even with my Knights Armor 3 star upgrade, the boss was doing 5 hearts of damage. I kinda like how enhanced armor isn’t always an instant win card.

I’m glad I didn’t keep up with this game too much before release. As a result, I got surprised by a lot of stuff. I didn’t know Hyrule had been destroyed, or about the weapon durability. I’m still learning new things about this game. I love that lots of puzzles have more than one solution.

I’m still looking for the Hylian Shield and I think one is most definitely in Hyrule Castle. Although I’m a lot stronger now, I know that place has gotta be crawling with Guardians. Maybe I can sneak in, find the shield and get out.

So has anyone spent any time talking to Koko and Cottla in Kakariko Village? I initially thought some of their behavior was strange.

Spoiler

Then I realized that the reason Koko always did the cooking and Cottla could never find her mother is because she was dead. You can follow Koko to a cemetery in the village. DANG.

So the Golden Bow is one of my favorites because that sucker is basically a sniper rile with so much zoom you can see a Bokoblin’s pores.

i almost never go into any game with much knowledge about it. it really allows you to take the game for what it is. When you hype shit up, you’re likely to ruin the experience

Random thought, I wonder what Darknuts would look like in this game considering how Lynels turned out.

I really hope those guys come back in some DLC, alongside Like-likes (cry about durability when your shit gets eaten), ReDeads, and a huge dungeon that brings back classic bosses like the Gleeok, Aquamentus, and Manhandla.

Dodongo can go fuck itself.

Ahh man…I already have such high hopes for the next console zelda now…Definitely buying that DLC.

Edit:
The fucking savagery on this man Link. GIMME DEM GOT DAMN BOOTS!

I’d be really cool with Dodongos coming back but remove the tail weakness and force you to kill them the classic way. With all the ways you can use Bombs now Dodongos should be really fun to fight with that restriction. Back flip and Chuck it into its mouth while in the air, or bowling ball roll it in to their mouth when they try to breath fire or something. Make them look like triceratops again to lol.

Like Likes returning would be cool. They could actually eat your stuff permanently again like they did in the original Zelda.

Oh then, peeps would REALLY be crying. We already got folks complaining about weapons breaking even though the game is constantly throwing more at you. Imagine the tears from stuff being permanently jacked from you.

Well we all know steel types are super effective against rock types.
