This dude Jim Sterling spent at least six minutes of a ten minute video*(probably more, but I couldn’t take anymore)* complaining about not having a female Link.
I usually agree with him on most things, but that is some of the most insipid shit you could come up with to dock points on a review.
I’ll try to sit through the rest, but Jim’s beef about Nintendo claiming the ad revenue on his vids show.
Said the same thing in the VG thread, but I don’t believe there was a video review. And his written review was fine, even if I didn’t get most of the complaints he was having.
Also he doesn’t get ad revenue on his show, all his money is through his Patreon. He gets annoyed 'cause his show is meant to be ad-free and content ID prevents that.
Paya is my waifu. I think I knew it when I first met her. Was about to find out where her birthmark was but old lay Impa had to butt in. I zoomed in on Paya walking inside for the night. Girl got a THICK set of cheeks. The Link/Paya fan fics are probably off the chain.
I killed my first Wizzrobe, the fire type. I was gonna avoid him at first but I wanted payback for what his lightning cousin put me through and ice arrows put an end to his Night Crawler shenanigans.
The best kills in this game are the unintended ones. I was pushing a boulder off a cliff to draw out what I thought were Bokoblins hiding in a skull cave when in fact they were outside the cave and one caught that boulder full force.
My Zelda amiibos are really helping me out. I got Epona from a Smash TP Link and a Sapphire from Ganondorf and Zelda! I’m about to get that Guardian and Bokoblin amiibo just to have more to scan each day! Same for those Zelda 30th anniversay amiibos.
I’m having a hard time getting invested in botw. I just have no urge to explore or do the extra stuff like shrines and hunt down my little korok friends.
Like, I appreciate all the little things botw has done with the game. it feels like they thought of everything but for some reason i just cant enjoy it.
Plz don’t hunt for koroks. You have to be clinically insane to do so. Just beat the story if you dont want to explore, the game is set up so you can do that
Im not actively lookibg for koroks. I look around and investigate areas im in and if something looks suspicious theres usually a korok there. Havent been really lookibg for them but finding them as i go along.
You will practicality trip over Koroks just by playing the game. They’re fucking everywhere. I pretty much always find at least 10 of them a day. It’s ridiculous.
Oh yeah, since the subject of waifus came up…that purple Zora that guards the entrance of Zora’s domain is pretty cute. Sadly her name escapes me at the moment.
Mipha would be fine if she didn’t have the lipstick.
Haven’t gotten to the area with the Gerudos so I can’t really comment there.
Anyone know if the large Yiga guards respawn in the desert hideout? When I was making that quest more difficult for myself I managed to kill a few and get their wind sword, but the time I actually completed it I just sneak killed all of them.
Nothing like out running two Guardians and dodging all of their laser beams while on horseback, to turn those knuckles white.
First time last night really exploring Hyrule Field.
This. Game.
I also trip over Koroks like crazy.
Maybe the same size? Haven’t looked up Skyrim or played it. The map size is smaller than Xenoblade Chronicles X, though, which is the reigning champ in map size.
The map is packed though, always something going on, especially when you start getting up grades to stats and gear.
