I was shooting arrows at him and trying to go for headshots but I wasnt getting the crit sound and he was just brushing them off. I was successfully parrying a few of his attacks but when I fucked up it felt like he was on top of my ass. There where were a few times he OTGed me. Id have just finished eating some food while on the ground in a ball and he’d charge right in and toss me through the air. I didnt take damage for whatever reason at that instant but he nearly 2 pieced my ass off the mountain.
Edit: I needed to take a picture of the first oneI foughn and I did but because I died I dont have it anymore. Wife found another in the forest at the top of a mountain so I guess Ill pay him a visit.
Edit 2: So yeah…Maybe my bow isn’t strong enough? I definitely put an arrow in this Lynel’s face and he just went ‘…’ and shot his arrows at me anyway. Does it take more than one?
To be honest with you I was using ice arrows against the Lynels I fought because those were the arrows I had the most of at the time. So maybe they’re weak against ice attacks?
It also helps to get head shots by finding high ground then jump off to use the slo-mo aiming when using your bow while gliding.
Just fought some enemy that summons weather, lol. It flies and turn invisible. I used all my bomb arrows, which missed, like a moron.
Luckily the shrine I just beat was near so I went to that and teleported back to Kakariko(sp?) Village. Have things to take care of, but all I want to do is play Zelda…
I’m attempting a certain shrine quest again, and I have to retrieve an orb hanging around a Hinox’s neck. I think I can steal it while it’s sleeping, because there’s no way I can fight it directly. I was thinking I could hit the orb with an arrow, but I don’t have any more arrows. Too bad there’s no way to make arrows.
EDIT: Managed to grab the orb. I used Stasis+ then went on top of him while he was sleeping.
…what? Hinox’s are one of the easiest enemies to fight…
…unless that’s the case. Still manageable though.
I ran into the area you’re talking about and found 2 orbs on 2 different Hinoxes but had no idea what I was supposed to do with them (didn’t have a shrine quest for that area at the time). I did stamp the area to return later if I got a clue though.
[details=Spoiler]The Hinox was the least of my concerns… it was dealing with all the Bokoblin+Moblin mobs without any gear.
Plus those goddamned elemental Chuchus… Although a surprise rainstorm fucked up the Fire Chuchus that were mugging me… Then the lightning got me as I was magneto-ing the axe in the middle of the poison pit.[/details]
Too bad there’s no way to make arrows.
