The Legend of Zelda thread - Ganon's bodyshop will be open for business on Nov. 20th

I took off running as soon as I grabbed it…stumbled upon another shrine in the process. So it actually worked out pretty good

That leads me to now ask how is everyone making rupees? I may spend an evening farming for gems and bokoblin stuff because I don’t like to be broke in a Zelda game where rupees actually are needed.

I LOVE the see it/take it mentality of this game. Foe has a dope looking sword? Kill him and take it! It’s how I got my first HORSE! I saw a goblin riding it from a distant, he saw me an charged so I got a headshot on him and took his steed!

This broad named Magda was super anal about some flower she planted around one of the shrines. I kept steping on them and she snapped! Took me down to half a heart! Da eff?!

Just climb some mountains and smash some boulders, go kill the Stone Talus in area west of Dueling Peaks, or sell off monster parts.

I’m also hearing about side quests in the more remote areas of Hassle dropping mad bank.

What about the song you hear from the bird guy, the one that mentions a cache between 17 and 24?

Just found all the memories. Finally.

…okay, these Zora kids are adorable

Spoiler

One of 'em gave me a side quest to “find her prince”…she puts a letter in a container and tosses it into a river, asking you to make sure it gets through the river safely and to let her know the kind of person that finds it. D’awwww… <3

Ugh, way too much rain in my game lately.

Lol game trolled the shit out of me as I was climbing to get to the Shrine at the very top of the Dueling Peaks… I was making my final push, had just eaten some stamina boost food, and was making my final push towards the top… Then the rain kicked in and I lost almost all my progress…

I set a campfire to wait it out, when I accidentally set the grass around me on fire… In my panic, I learned that fire creates an updraft that can be paraglided… So not a complete waste of time.

So tip for you guys, you may not necessarily want to sell your diamonds. They can be used to restore one of the weapons you acquire after beating a Divine Beast.

Spoiler

The Lightscale Trident you get from the Zoras, to be specific. You need a Zora Spear, a diamond and 5 pieces of flint to rebuild it if you break it; whether that’s worth it to you of course is another story. But it’s nice that there’s at least one weapon you can repair.

Anyone have the amiibos? Thinking about buying my first one and looking at the guardian. How many ancient arrows did you get in your drop?

My pop collection pretty much takes up all my toy collecting space but I have run for a few amiibos.

I’m not going to say why, but everyone should make sure they have 13 hearts sooner rather than later. You’ll thank me.

Also, I want to meet the guy who 100%s this game.

I thought I was ready for my first Lynel encounter…I was not ready for my first Lynel encounter.

Edit: omg…I do not have enough food to deal with this guys shit right now. And I can’t catch him on fire or throw bomb arrows at him cause the beast is throwing a fit. HE’S SO FAST…AND HE DOES SO MUCH DAMAGE. >( I"m determined to beat this guys ass.

Edit2: YEAH MOTHER FUCKER. EAT ALL THE DICKS! I went through most of my cooked food on that guy. I’m gonna have to get used to fighting them more since I kept screwing up.

If you can some how get a head shot in with your arrows it’ll put Lynels in a crumpled state for a moment. Then you just gotta get pretty accurate about parrying their attacks until their health is finally worn down. Their moves are easily telegraphed but as I’m sure you know you get murdered in one hit. I have like 18 hearts right now and I still get TOD’d. I honestly recommend just keeping a lot of fairies stocked instead of eating all your food.

With the way everybody keeps getting wrecked in this game I ain’t even mad about Hero Mode anymore

Yea gotta work on my parry game. Been dependent on dodge game.

Just realized guardians respawn as well during blood moon. Going to farm that one outside of the akkala tech lab. Gonna practice my perfect guard on that damn beam.

I actually agree.

Can’t confirm if true, but apparently the more of an enemy type you kill, the game starts spawning stronger versions of those monsters, with better weapons, HP, and stronger AI…

Lots of people reporting absurdly powerful black colored versions of Bokoblins, Moblins, and Lizalfos with new attacks and weapons like Royal Greatswords and the like.

They also seem to appear in areas where enemies did not spawn before, and usually in large groups.

Can’t confirm or deny, but I did run across a few of black Bokoblins who seemed smarter and definitely hit harder earlier near the cliff just west of Purah’s lab where the Shrine is.

Well that explains why going back doesn’t help all that much. Here I was trying to go back to the start and farm some easy bokoblins for goodies then I started seeing more black ones popping up.

If this is how it’s going to be, Hero Mode will make you cry.

I just hope Hero Mode does more than give the enemies more HP and better weapons. Even the black Moblins/Bokoblins are way too easy to beat now and more HP/Attack Strength won’t change that.

The only thing that gave me trouble is that Guardian I ran into and even then I just haven’t studied its patterns yet.

I went back and did the major test of strength. It wasnt actually hard, it just took a while. 3000 hp is a lot
