Just remember your bow counts too, it’s always worked for me like that. And if you just use your inventory and not the d pad shortcut time shouldn’t be an issue. You’ll see anything metal have a little green spark in the upper right corner.
Getting struck by lightning because it hit a treasure chest you were opening sucks though lol. I mag lifted it out of the water as a storm was starting and pushed my luck on the sparks.
imo, yes. this game honestly reminds me why i love zelda and i haven’t had this feeling since oot came out.
i like the other post-oot zeldas but they were just great games, but lacked any “omfg wow” moments.
so this game basically is at least as good as zelda 1, alttp and oot. maybe the best zelda ever.
and if you really enjoy exploring and doing side quests you’ll be playing this game for months

Are there secret chimes in the game?
Yes, you still get the classic chime when you discover a secret.
@King9999 you’re supposed to make your way up the canyon, then glide to a higher point on that tower. It’s nearly impossible otherwise.
Haven’t made it there yet, but apparently there’s some type of quest once you make it up there.
And for anyone that’s tired of taking shit off of Guardians- Invest in Ancient Arrows.
Yeah i know i went in my inventory several times. You should have seen the panic as i tried to unequip stuff and everytime ot wasnt working. I was confused as all hell but I wanted to live.

I feel like im cheating the system or something by using the ice blocks to traverse across large expanses of water.
It’s an open world game. You’re supposed to do anything and everything allowed, simply because you can.
But never stop to think if you should. Waste of time better spent on thinking of new things you can do.
Is there anyway to expand the amount of pictures you can take?
Went to try and locate another photo location and got run down by my first Guardian. Tried to run away instead of standing my ground and at least trying to fight…didn’t turn out so well. 
I did manage to get into the Central Tower beforehand though so I have a map of the area around Hyrule Castle. So that’s something at least.

Lol I know the spot. I just ran away. Didn’t get the tower either because everytime I tried to climb I would get shot down.
I think i know the tower you are talking about. I managed to make it up there. I definitely died a few times and had some years taken off my life in the process but i can be done. There was definitely some crazy near misses climbing up there.
I managed to get up there on the first try; there’s plenty of ledges so you jump while climbing 3 times to get to said spot and you can duck to avoid being targeted further. Repeat until you’re at the top.
Was targeted several times but wasn’t fired upon.
This next tower I’m going after though…it’s surrounded by 3 lightning Wizzrobes and the whole thing is in a lake of water…this should be fun.
EDIT: Got it. One of them did spot me but I was up to one of the ledges on the tower at that point; I shot him in the face with an arrow and he didn’t bother me again.
EDIT 2: Neat, this tower has a mini-game at the top! Try and glide as far as you can. I got 622.8 meters on the first try.
Another shrine down…but this one gave me an unexpected surprise. In the form of a new weapon that isn’t a soldier, knight, or guardian type.

Is there a vendor that pays more for precious jewels than others? About to unload but want more bang for my rupees.
Oh just finished my 20th shrine I think. I remember one reviewer saying that’s how many he did and thought they were bland and mundane… I’m not sick of them yet.
Has anyone seen a meterorite fall from the sky yet? One landed on a mountain pretty far away from where I am and I want to go inspect it but I’m in the middle of something…wondering if anyone else has witnessed it yet.
I’ve seen several but thought nothing of it until I met an NPC who mentioned something about there being treasure at the impact site.
