If I pick Nasus vs Riven top, I’m not going to scream I lost the lane because my jungler didn’t cover me constantly. That’s just how that lane goes.
The problem is, junglers can help you out, so they expect you to help out ALL OF THE TIME or you’re not doing your job and you’re bad and they lost the lane because you didn’t make up for the fact their lane was a 9 - 1 matchup.
That’s when babysit enters… To mitigate the bad matchups on the lane phase. The other alternative is the classic Lane Switch.
I ask babysit usually when im Katarina vs Diana/LeBlanc/Ryze/Galio because I know im gonna get outfarmed. Sometimes (most) I get out victorious 1 v 1, sometimes don’t (like 2 games ago when I picked Ahri and my oponent was Veigar…) and I need to roam more, even at the expense of losing a turret.
Yeah, this is the smartest strategy, but nobody does it.
What’s that, there’s a morde top lane and your kennen called top? Well, he called top, so might as well keep the lanes the way they are. Oh no, Kennen went 0/6. Blame him for everything.
At that point, I’d recommend taking cloth and 5 health pots, and just keeping your head down and clear your jungle. Go back and get boots, then worry about ganking.
Of course, you can’t always tell if they’re going to help or not…
How the hell did he get so many? Did people just give them to him straight up because he’s Justin Wong? Or is he doing some sort of promotional thing and got a bunch for that?
Kind of lame. Not saying that going full tiamat’s is going to be viable or what not, but just having the possibility of 1v5ing people is kind of silly.
