So I clearly had my first penta in rank, and it’s been like a week now and it’s not even updated on my stats. What gives?
The problem is that you say “I do this, I do that” when we are talking about Darius game in general, I don’t give a crap about you playing well with Darius, congratulations, but we are talking about Darius playstyle in general. And Darius is heavily countered by ranged champs on top or Jax…
Did you spam PENTAKEEEEL in all chat? and brag about it in post-game? And congrats :lol: 
Darius is really strong with jungle support. If you pick him make sure the jungler is on board because when he has a lead you can’t be in that lane. He does lose to the above listed except rumble. He doesn’t lose bad though except to nid and lesser so to jayce. I would just counter assassins with him unless your jungler is down.

Diana too strong, tears through entire teams like a hot knife through butter.
You can’t expect the jungler to be constantly saving your lane from a bad matchup though. If you pick Darius and get countered, some of the time you’re just gonna have to accept missing some farm and being in bad positions early game. Jungler has too many responsibilities to be babysitting one bad matchup all game. Maybe if you have a 5 man and you’re all in agreement on it, but definitely not in solo Q.
Bottom line, Darius in lane has pubstomp potential but not much else to offer against true competitive players in the early top lane matchup.
i just a penta but i was dicked out over a fucking ga proc. got the quadra and the last persons ga made it a delayed non official penta. also 3 of my team tried to steal it like faggots.

You missed my point I will elaborate. I said he is close to most those lanes I would never pick him against nid or jayce. When I say support (I never said camp) I mean getting you an early lead. This could be a pot lead or even a possible kill which with early darius and some junglers is very possible if you don’t push the lane. Then all Darius has to do is deny creeps and ward and he can stomp the lane or kill the person if they get too greedy.
I don’t know what your guys experience with Darius is but exactly how does he lose early this hard? You guys are acting like this character is a liability or something. With that early gank he is one of the best chances you have at an early FB. His damage is insane and insanely easy to set up and make optimal. If you don’t push the lane and ward you should be fine against the jungler and if they want to dive you be my guest with that ultimate. He is a solid yoloQ pick and one of the few tops that can near instant kill his bad match ups with a mistake.
Now I am not saying he is the best I don’t like his late game at all really (outside of the hilarious penta potential) but he is by no means a bad pick against most of the common top lanes. Since Jayce is banned a lot there isn’t to much to worry about.
Start taking games less seriously as in try-hard mode. Start playing better AND having more fun. Play calmer and more carefully. I like it. Feels good. #AverageGuyWins

It’s more like people should just focus on their own play, even if it is a team game. No one will ever have a perfect game and something could’ve always been better
Random Q to all the more experienced lol players here as I’m pretty fresh to the game. What is easier when it comes to Mastery pages? Making a general role Mastery to choose from “AD Carry / AP Mid / Jungle / Support” etc or is the game too situational, that it’s better to make the pages for specific champions in roles that you play? At the moment I’m doing it per champion and I’m using 4 right now - Soraka Support, Ashe AD Carry, Evelynn AP Mid & Nunu Support.
Any other general tips to help improve my game would be appreciated also. I’m watching alot of play to study while trying out games myself. Still learning item builds and how to quickly get items when playing as I find I spend too long navigating the shop as I’m not too familiar with it. My other gripe is attempting to learn how to “ward” effectively as a Support when playing it. Just doing lots of reading and I guess getting into the nitty gritty would be better experience than just pondering over it.

Mastery pages or rune pages? Mastery pages you can get away with them being pretty general. And if you ever need to make a tweak you can do so during champ select. But mastery pages are free and you can make up to 20 of them, so might as well make life easy. Rune pages can get pretty specific down to the matchup, but if you don’t have a lot then you just make general pages.
Like, my rune pages, I have 4 AD Carry pages and 4 AP Carry pages, 2 Supporting pages, and the rest are jungle/top pages. I line up my mastery pages with my runes pages, but a lot of my mastery pages are the same save for a few points here and there. I can probably get away with way less mastery pages, but hey, might as well.
