Yeah…she’s not amazing. Just lots of fun. Good at farming/controlling the lane and taking wraiths, but has basically 0 escape except for an unreliable “knockback” that doesn’t stun with orbs you shoot half the time. Really disappointed in that, it makes or breaks situations when that fails.
I’ve seen lots of people tearing up ranked by jungling Pony. Seems good, I should pick him up.

On another note, I’m hoping the season 3 jungle change that’s supposed to be more friendly to “single target junglers” would let people stop being nancies and let me jungle Irelia more :V

Irelia jungle with an Ionic Spark can work, I’ve done it before, I prefer playing her top though.
Irelia always has, and always will be (hopefully) my favourite solo top. She’s one of my best champions and one of my favourite champions.

Edit - There are many junglers that you CAN jungle with, but there’s no reason to if they can play better in the top lane. You’re just going to deprive yourself of gold/experience. Also, ARAMs have made me forget how to play SR. Blaaaaaah.

They need to start calling this game league of counterpicks. Im seriously considering just blind pick normals from now on. People would much rather have an incredibly easy lane than try to outplay their opponent
pick yorick or jump on the jayce elo train
Or beat the counter pickers because they usually can’t play that character optimally. I beat Jayces all the time with Wu kong.
@the Irelia jungle post. I am pretty sure Soraka could jungle well with an ionic spark so that point is useless.

Teemo’s auto attack range is the same as apprehend. So you auto attack him once and you die.
Tell me who honestly has advantage vs him top? Jayce can’t win that match up, because Darius does more than him. And Darius’ level 6 waaaaaaaaaaaaay outclasses Jayce’s level 6.
Shen gets demolished. Irelia will quickly die. Olaf will kill himself before Darius does. Vlad can’t ever hope to fight Darius. Nidalee will have to farm, and Darius’ end game and his overall impact is much higher than Nid’s. Rumble can’t ever fight with him 1v1 because Darius out damages him.
Riven and Jax stand much better chances than everyone else, but once again, Darius’ lvl 6 is better than Jax’s. Riven’s level 6 is good, and that just comes down to who was winning the lane in the first place.

I typically dont have a hard time vs Darius as Jax. Just gotta play smart and know when to poke. If I see him twirl his axe for a last hit, proc my Ult twice, jump, empower and thats a huge chunk of damage with little to fear. Best to jump him when he goes to last hit, and run behind a minon as you go away
Most melee will lose to a decent Darius no one can match his out put in trades because of his passive. Just get him to push the lane with his Q and have your jungler help you he has no escape what so ever. When you get a lead on Darius then he is pretty worthless because his late game presence is meh.
Right, but when is Malphite ever available to play? Rarely ever. Even in tournaments malphite isn’t picked as much. They would rather pick someone like Jayce or Shen for what they can do. Yes Malphy can fight with Darius, but once more, Malphite will never ever straight up kill Darius. And you have to remember something, I get 25% armor pen for free. If I ever buy a last whisper, you as Malphite will cry…and run…very very far away from me.
