Also this is like the 5th time I have seen Scarra use kat and not do well with her. People say once she gets her hextech things start rolling, but he like never gets hextech. Hell, sometimes I see him get doran’s shield on her.

I was surprised Scarra didn’t do well with Kat, she usually out farms AP Mids like crazy because of how she has no Mana and doesn’t have to worry about recalling for Mana at all and heck, her cooldowns aren’t even that long either. Scarra would have no problem farming.
Why? Because she’s clothed for once? Don’t even bother trying to claim that the hextech skin is clothed. That skin conceals her goods as well as a wet T-shirt.
Yeah I was looking at Scarra’s items and it made me question my Kat build. I think Hextech Gunblade does soooooo much for Kat as a first item. Seemed like he went Kage’s and then Abyssal.
Then again, I noticed teams build quite different. I haven’t seen too many pro/tournament streams so I’m not sure if there’s a different meta in building items or not considering there’s a lot of roaming together and team fights.

I may not be an expert but I’m pretty sure having a Leona+Ez mid against Kat just completely shuts her up. Scarra likes to do the whole shunpo+spin then run away. With Leona in lane, the only time he could do that was when Leona was pretty damn far away from Ez. Even though Scarra had the leveling advantage, facing a CC happy support like Leona exploits the old fashioned “Just CC kat’s ult and gg”. Kat’s also melee so Ez could free poke her all day everyday. Most of the time Scarra was farming with his Q on his tower. As a result Scarra could not roam, could not harass, could not farm, could not be productive mid game. Udyr babysitting wouldn’t have helped either because it’s fucking Ezreal.
My guess is that he went kage for the gold and abyssal to at least be somewhat useful to the team when he shunpos in. In didn’t even matter though since mid game NOBODY on dignitas had a high tier item (Abyssal was probably the only “complete” item) while Saigon had 3.
The running theme for kats seems to be rushing that hextech revolver so you can trade more or have some freakin’ sustain. It made sense to me but I don’t see it getting built by Scarra often.
The Janna skin looks kind of meh-ish in-game, but she has dem Claymore boots in the splash art so it’s all forgiven.
I wonder if I can get 350 ELO in two weeks…
The problem with Scarra is that he has to go with Kage’s because of double laning (and at this moment seems like the best counter for Katarina right now), he cant build a Revolver because he will not get anymore money at that moment, if he went but against karth it could have been a different story…
in an odd turn of events i somehow won 2 pax sivir skins on ebay. i was bidding on multiple and 2 won somehow. they had been going for 30-40 buck the days heading up to it so i had no idea ide win 1 let alone 2. one for 19 and one for 16. not sure what to do with the second one as he is gonna send the physical card and not send a code.
