You can argue this all you want, but it’s not the way I saw it. Naughty Dog gave the NPCs are more realistic feel because that makes sense, but in the end they’re still just nameless jobbers. They’re obstacles of your objective, just like any other NPC. Again, suspension of disbelief, like somehow Kiryu doesn’t kill a single person in Yakuza in all of the franchise despite all the jobbers he beat up, maimed, and shot while you played the game. Sometimes you can read into things too much. You guys completely ignored my point that Ellie and crew are complete ghosts to everyone in Seattle anyways, so I’m not sure why you’re still arguing that point either when there’s no one for the Wolves or Seraphites to even go after in the cycle of revenge. The only people that knew Ellie existed in Seattle at the end of the game were Lev and Abby, who left to do their own thing.
I remembered another talking point though. I do understand that people felt the whole zombie angle was not really explored upon anymore in TLOU2 but honestly I feel like the world building they established in the first game more or less peaked. I don’t really know what else they could have done to expand upon the world already established in the first game, and in the end, just like TLOU2, the first game was a human story with a zombie apocalypse backdrop.

I actually think the game does a lot of amazing stuff. The gameplay looks pretty compelling and the realization of the enviroments is fantastic for example.

The Hotline Miami bit is still amazing to me.
There’s also a bunch of phat PS3’s sitting around in the world, and I even heard you can’t shoot them if you aim a gun at them. 
Oh, Joel’s song to Ellie is a nice touch on Pearl Jam too.
I’ve always been a sucker for “Take On Me.” I thought the music video was the most amazing thing ever as kid.

I just wanted to say that the shotgun upgrade (fire shells) Abby gets is so damn awesome. When I think about it, I believe I enjoyed Abby’s weaponry more than Ellie’s.
Abby’s playstyle is pretty unga bunga compared to Ellie’s, which makes sense since she’s a swole, trained soldier and Ellie much more crafty in comparison.
