db 21 tricks? What tricks do you speak of? The mix up? Well, I know for a fact he will duck 50/50 so it kind of screws me up…unless…how safe is db2 se 1?
Nah, I meant use db21 to get in his face. It ducks highs (which is… what, all of Kaz’s good moves save for df2, which he shouldn’t abuse). db21 then SSR~SWR. db21 then uf1+2. db21 then d4. db2 (stop). db21 (pause) then df2. db2 SE 1 (pushback), etc.
Don’t do it ALL the time though, but every here and there, they’ll think “oh he’s going to do this after…” and then you don’t. Since db21 is safe on block, and you’re in their face for anything (throw, d4, df2, SS2, uf3 even, etc.), you’ve got all the options.
Oh yeah, I have a new annoying setup now. Jab (1), then mixup d2 or d4 or df3 or df4 or b1. Since 1 is +8 on hit, and d2 on block leaves them FC and Lars on 0f, they’re limited to their WS and FC options after, thus Lars has the advantage. All the others are just setups to keep them from trying to step after the jab.
