The game will be played via xboxlive.
We would appreciate if those who would like to join the match register in ‘KORnationalTEAM’ as a friend with the ID of XBOX Live and send us a message.
(If you are also available for a short interview, please leave us your phone number we can reach at. We will give you a call for the interview.)

The match is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on January 28 th, 2010, which is 7 p.m.,January 27th New York local time.

Korean top gamers of Street Fighter 4 are getting ready for this match!
We would like to encourage lots of American game masters out there to join the match as well.

Thank you very much for your time and trouble.

get a better spokesman who knows proper english to get yourself across better
suggestion: Laugh

if this is a serious well organized challenge/event… will be very entertaining

3 day notice to play where? korea? xbox live? america?

you really need to provide more details when posting things like this.

this is probably a joke, they would know better than to talk about a challenge date 3 days from now without any planning.

^
Not necessarily! Maybe their scene is very unified and they already play a lot of online, maybe to them 3 days notice is plenty of time to pull the necessary players together… especially if they already have a team.

Either way, this thread makes a lot more sense than the last one. http://www.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=223338

DONT FEED THE TROLLs

Oh man that made me LoL so hard

This thread is fobtacular!!!

if i were from usa id check with Laugh about that, theres nothing to lose anyway… And if that guy is really from ongamenet itd be really nice.

This guy’s english is actually pretty decent if he’s really a korean native. =)

I call my scrubby Gen to OCV your whole team.

One man army baby!

if you are really from ongamenet ask Laugh to post and/or contact that people that would be on such a team directly

I merged your two threads together. Use the “edit post” feature instead of spamming the boards.

That is by far the creepiest thing ever asked on this forum.

Phone number…? :wtf:

I’ve got a CREDIT CARD number… will that do?

Well I was kind of into the starcraft scene, and I know one thing about Korea, is they’re into games. they have like 2 or 3 channels of non-stop gaming programs, so even though this seems like a joke, I bet it’s real. I mean what do you have to lose? Just add that user, then message them. I’d do it but I don’t play XBOX. you might end up on TV!

Edit in: I remember there was a Korean starcraft show called “B.net attack” in which a pro starcraft player would issue a challenge to a random user online and the match would be televised live. This sounds nearly identical. It’s not really about planning but just taking them up on the challenge.

Well, I’m pretty sure OnGameNet hosted the Korea vs. Japan exhibition…

Would be pretty cool but playing via XboxLive is a huge turn off, especially when going across the ocean.

Too bad nobody good would play even if this is real. 98% of these boards are shitty players. I’m sorry, I don’t mean that offensively it’s just the reality. Reading threads and people being amazed at things that were known about months ago everywhere else. We have a good community, it’s just this community for SFIV seems to enjoy Talk Fighter Four than Street Fighter 4.
