I dont know man…Duck and Eiji on the same team it doesnt sound that good to me (unless eiji is the leader) …they are great starters but id stick with one of them and then put another char who can use some stocks. Because I tried Duck, Eiji, Duolon (L) but theres something missing there…thats why i dropped eiji and placed oswald. sometimes I drop duck for Eiji but never put them together.
Kane uses that team like a CHAMP to counter Kula and Gato pretty much…and he starts with Eiji always to counter Kula…sure Duck is the main combo person and Eiji is not a combo machine…so thats the difference…I think they are more a counter team as Kane told me hes got that team as a backup in case they get past his Oswald, Kyo, Kim (Random Select Leader!!) team…
As you said, they are a counter team, but not a team id main. thats why Duck/Eiji is my started and battery, they also start QS combos. Oswald uses some meter (moon slash super) and finishes and starts my QS combos, and Duolon (L)…well you already know…and he also finishes and starts QS
try to zone duck with your fireballs, He can outpoke you so dont try to fight him in a poke war. If its necessary, do a QS combo to oswald in order to inflict severe damage to Duck (Ace combo)
Against Eiji, you better stay with/switch to Oswald, since you cant zone eiji with fireballs (he will negates them, throw them back to you or in the worst case hit you with the fireball super)
good advice, never really thought about Duck out-poking Ash. Question do you know of any good traps for Oz to start with, cause so far anytime i go crouching A, or jumping C/D, or just straight for qc.b+a, he immediatly rolls out of the way with duck, i don’t seem to have quite as hard a time with Oz against Eiji though, wondering if maybe i’m just that bad or if maybe duck has a slight frame advantage in his dodge rolls over Oz’s pokes.
Well, yo should never cancel it if cr.a or jump didnt hit cuz it will happen what you said. With oswald try to stay most of the time on the ground. and try to score a knockdown which is oswald strongest position. Also if they are lying on the groung throw a card as a wake up and mix up with, cr.b or hop C or cross up roll.
Duck King can outpoke a lot of characters since he has a lot of priority (specially with his jump
D) also he has Break Spiral which can beat almost any poke, so be carefull
Ugh…typo on my part. I meant a image of all the colors that each character has. Dunno where the hell you’re gonna get color edits but
This is a color selection chart: http://cyberfanatix.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=2145 KOF XI.
Well yeah, it’s just kara cancelling and it’s fairly important to learn with a lot of characters.
Also, it’s not just E’s but any cancellable normal…although it’s mostly useful for normals that move your character forward.
Hey guys, something “new” here, did you know that theres a setpup for Duolons LDM which is unblockable? and no, im not refering to duos command grab into LDM or Loris command grab into Duo which I listed a few pages ago. Im talking about my man Ryo, though this is difficult to set up, is somewhat useful and can be frightening once the opp has fallen once into this.
Basically, try to kill and opp with ryo and go to the place you think the opp will land (works wonderfully in the corner) and do Ryos hcb, fwd + D (not the B version, the D one). As you should know the D version takes more time to come out but ALWAYS causes guard crush on block, which you can follow with QS into Duo and LDM. But what if the opp does not block? ITS EVEN BETTER because that mov causes quite a long hit stun and you can QS anyway.
So try to test it if you can, you might get surprised
uhh…yeah haha but as Duolons LDM is the most damaging follow-up I can think of I listed it there…id say that the best way to follow up ryos hcb, fwd + D is that…assuming you play Leader Duolon
