Problem with recording the footage at FRXI is that Larry may want it on the DVD…
So make sure you check with him before putting it up…

The only official SNK games are Tenka, Real Bout 2, KOF 98, and NGBC.
hey people, a friend of mine wants to learn Vanessas combos since he plays her on 2k2, so i told him “well watch the tutorial vid”. The result was that he is more confused now, he cant get the "std.C, Fwd A xx qcb +a, std.C into someting. I tried to do it…but i failed…is hard as hell, anyone here can do that? theres any shortcut my friend could use…or its just timing?
I’ll let rogueyoshi get into that…I cant go into strats and stuff too much because I’m stressing out trying to make it to FRXI.
IIRC you can’t let the 2nd hit of the forwad A hit if that was the problem
It’s mostly timing; you have to already be doing the qcb when the Fwd A appears. It’s really something if you can do it constantly and do 'em back to back. I can do it somewhat.:wonder:
^ Agreed, it’s really hard to get off consistently. Try breaking the combo up, getting the d.B to f.A to qcb.A part down is the main part. It has to be pretty fast. Once you can pull that off without thinking, you get a rhythm, and the std. C link isn’t as hard to do. Just got to get the muscle memory. I had real troubles pulling this combo off on my sanwa, but last night I tried out my suzo stc and it was quite a bit easier. That said, I only pulled it off like 3 times in a row max, but hopefully a little more practice on the suzo will yield some more consistency.

I was thinking that, maybe if the full kensous corner combo is performed it might result in a near 100% combo…but thats just me. I know that combo is hard as hell, i cant do it at all, originally I wanted to have a Gato Kensou Duolon (L), because kensous CC fills meter really fast…but well…if someday i learn the combo ill main that guy…if not ill keep Tendo Gai

Well, he’s about a C tier without LDM and has a little trouble against the higher tiers but who doesn’t, right? :lol: His qcf+k dash is essential to keep pressure on people and his quickshift hcbx2+p is pretty good.
Duo’s crouching jab has pretty good range, and combos easily into his 3 hit string whatever that is.

hmm there are plenty of CV on youtube, but i havent seen any using those guys…anyway I think a good (damaging) combo using Tizoc and Ralf (L) (asuming Ralf is your leader) would be
Tizoc: J.C/J.D, std.C, df.D, Daedalus Attack QS to ralf on the 2nd hit, qcb+D (start charging back), back fwd A (you know, that charge move…) SC into Galactica Phantom
Although is not that practical since you need 3 bars and 2 skill stocks
Its gonna be hard to make combovids with solely Grapplers…Its easy in KOF2000 but not in KOFXI go figure…
But, comboing powerfull grabs LDM is not that hard, for example, you can do any simple combo (that does not lift the opp) then QS to …lets say Tizoc and when you land: Big fall LDM for big damage
I like grapplers too, they are fun (o.Yashiro :badboy:)
