CMX if you get into a habit with that I can punish…yeah its safer ubt the best option as Shiki aid is DP+a.

Found 2 notable things tonight when playing KOF XI:

I was playing as (Leader)Shingo against the CPU (Leader) Yuri. Yuri was hopping towards me so I hit her with Shingo’s Dokugami (:qcf::snkc:). I guess I got lucky because I got the Super rare SPARK version of QCF+C…and it did 50% damage!!! :wow:
I’m not even sure if that it was a Counter Hit either, so I was pretty amazed. -
Something strange but useful I found with Silber:
During a normal or super jump, Silber’s air :snkc: is a no-recovery knockdown move if it hits. HOWEVER, during a short jump or hyperhop Silber’s air :snkc: won’t knockdown at all…and it’s comboable into his ground normals, allowing :snka:,:snka:, :r::snka: XX ranbu super/LDM or :snkc:,:r::snka: XX ranbu super/LDM to combo from it.
It was more than likely a CH with Shingo. Thats the main reason why I like to play with Shingo. All of his CH attacks hurt.
Yeah the spark Dokugami does around 40-50% normal hit.
Okay thanks guys. The fact that qcb+A links to super is just great. Just liked the hcb+K because of the knockdown stuff.
Anyway, i really think that the counter hit qcf+A —> fireball super has some broken (IMHO) damage. Always been tryin to set that up for the cheap damage. I’ll try to look for some Eijii vids that show some set ups. Looks like an essential for expert Eijiis…
LOL saw that post on the EX kyo infinite (good thing ur banned KOF EX male model!). Thats easy for an infinite ahahahah. Reminds me of Tekken 4 Lee’s infinite in the arena level; as with all tekken games, the damage scaling was f’d up. Now making something like that tournament legal (as with the t4 tournies) is just a celebration of scrubbiness.
It definitely wasn’t just a CH Dokugami since Shingo did his spark animation after the hit.
I had no idea though that Shingo’s spark Dokugami did that much on a normal hit in this game. In 2003 I remember it doing only about 20% with the advantage of a no-recovery KD…and 2003 had much lower damage scaling than XI.
Even on CH Shingo still does his spark animation. Its all the same. The only way for you to get 1/2 off is both hits have to connect or a CH Doku.

I tried doing it exactly the same way but the second palm is too far away for it to connect. After looking at the combo again I saw that the ender is a bit slower so it probably has to be delayed. I’ll test it out a little later but wanted to see if you knew anything about it.

I think it’s EX(NGBC) Kyo that may have the infinite. I have seen it before but I do not remember where…
