Prologue:A cartel named NESTS seeks world domination and using their technology, they have cloned both Iori Yagami and Kyo Kusanagi. Now, their eyes are or legendary Ryu and Ken Masters and K’, a clone who rebelled NESTS and kidnapped a 14 year old iced powered girl. This caused many fighters who usually join the World Warrior Tournament to try to enter as well. Due to the amount of fighters joining, the Striker System was born. Basically, the usual 3-on-3 battle is now four on four, but one member of each team must be a “striker” or in other words, the striker will be on the sidelines until he is called by his teammate. He has five seconds to land an attack before going back to the sidelines. So, since the KOF starts next year(setting is 98), NESTS calls this tournament The King of Street Fighters. Some like Chun-Li, Kyo and Iori are aware of NESTS’ threat, but some see this as a way to test their strength. Sensing this, Chun-Li tells Ryu and Ken and thus believing her, she joins their team along with Honda to stop NESTS. The Hero Team also plans to end NESTS. The Yagami and Japan Team have their personal issue with the cartel. Will NESTS put their plans in motion and doom mankind?
