Why are these guys so special? It seems like any character I have to use wikipedia on is a character who ought to be included after KoF regulars. I mean, are these guys bigger draws than Robert Garcia or Mr. Karate? Ah, well–I guess it’s a nice treat for fans from the era.

Seriously, I’m pleased that SNK is going to the trouble to pack this game full of characters. I’m not at all convinced that it will be tournament-worthy, but I’m at least confident that I’ll get my money’s worth.

I mean can I get an FAQ or something or will I have to go out and pick up KOF: MI1 just to learn all of this?
This might be old news for some of you but for me it was new since i just check gamespot, here is a link for the news, they change it into king of fighter 2006 no more maximum impact.

MI’s story is simple: Fate was one of the big underworld bosses, or IIRC he was like ‘the main man’ of Southtown or something, but then he was killed by Lien.
Alba (who was raised by Fate) belives the man behind Fate’s death is Duke (MI1 Boss), who in MI1 is declaring himself the ‘main man’ of Southtown (the big underworld boss), so Duke starts this KoF tourney and tells Alba that if you want to take me on, enter this tourney.
Sorry if I missed a few points but that’s the basic idea ^_^.

I was worried at 1st because the intial roster looked weak, more like MI 1.5 NOT 2 but these extra characters make up for it.
