Does anyone know if this game will have HD lag? I got monster cables for PS2 and it makes MI:RA look amazing, still has a few frames of lag though. I figured it was because there’s no option to output in HD (maybe PS2 can’t do that at all…)

No…that combo is too damn easy…
PS2 only does 480p at best, and thats with very few games. There isn’t really anything to fix the lag short of buying a $200 external upscaler.

They better include the option to output in 480p, that should at least remedy the lag.

ok so in tsukache’s latest vids, choi does this 2 hit attack and then cancels into cb, f+p and it juggles… i’ve never seen it before. hmmm
Aside from the things which you have already covered, normal chris just feels more versatile and easier to use. O.chris’s hcf+K sometimes doesn’t combo from his Close C->F+A for some reason(not a 100% chance) whereas for normal chris, his qcb+P specials combos nicely from stand C->F+A which I feel is an advantage since he has more options and you can combine it with his low poke combos. O.chris has to rely more on his low poke combos as the hcf+K is guaranteed from there. I still like O.chris:wgrin:

I think that two-hit thing with Choi is just his fwd+A command normal though the combo might be new- never seen anyone use that before.
For O.Chris always use cr.B,cr.A,f+A normally or off a crossup and just cr.A,f+A off a jump-in. Close C into f+A with him is generally a no-no (honestly, this is the way to go with normal Chris as well).
And anyway yea the real main diffs between Chris and O.Chris at high level is normal Chris uses MAX mode and O.Chris has the fireball.

Noticed two things of note

NIghtmare Geese seems very strong, - he is selectable in arcade. I can’t see him at first glance being worse then Iori. Way too early to tell, only one way to find out.

They’ve changed the smiley system it looks like- given the partial meters at the start of rounds. I don’t think it’s dumped cause it looks like someone gained a meter at the end of the round with Mary.

Double Reppuken are treated as a regular projectile, was cancelled out by Upper Blitz Ball which is good…Double Shippuken makes Geese stay in the same place in the air and then he just decends to the ground after the second projectile…one can easily Haoh Sho Koh Ken/Kaiser Wave/Zantetsu Ha him if he gets brave or foolish with Double Shippuken AND Double Repuuken. Thats right there gives EX Geese some weight on the side of balanced in the argument of broken vs balanced
