Good Netcode and lobbies is all i need (* On the real I just really want lobbies, that upset me that 98um, Garou, had No lobbies on XBLA*).

Pretty sad that it’s probably the best game ever made by SNK, and they can only sell it in America for 10 bucks, and only on 360.
Has it been confirmed that it’s the Tougeki version?
Can not wait time to brush off my scrubbyness from too much ssf4 can’t wait for this iam just wanting netcode like ngbc and lobbies and all be happy

I’d say that confirms it’s based on Tougeki edition, correct?
I wouldn’t start getting any hopes up for multi-person lobbies, though. Would be nice, it’s just unlikely.
Note: Are there any single topics in this thread that have good info for people fresh to 2002UM? The TC is all old speculation, and it’d be nice if there was a “go to” topic for the potential influx of new players in this “Strategy Zone” area.
(I know we have Dreamcancel.com, but still would be nice to see something similiar on this site, too.)

there is no reason why this wouldn’t be based off of the latest version of arcade and ps2
it’s sort of a blessing in disguise that they waited this long so that they would be able to get the tougeki version
also i found it weird that there was no mention of this on the main page… click that “nominate for an article” button, folks… because pming the front page people sure the fuck didn’t do anything
Does it make much difference if it’s the Tougeki version or not? I don’t remember hearing of many significant changes.
Hell yes it does make a difference
And what is it? The only things I can remember is the lack of 3D backgrounds, they fixed Hinako’s character specific infite, and something about Goro’s roll.
