But it’s really boring seeing it in combo videos. And counter mode combos too, for that matter.
tmr i will post the second part of my combo video (quite short though)… without joe as striker… i tried to use some other chars… hope u will enjoy it (no 100% combo inside eheh) ^^
ps: the panda is in it too (2 combos… u must see it to believe!)

any feedback would be appreciated
Were those Kizuna Encounter and KoF 95 as well as 94 stages?
in the ps2 version (at least the japanese one), it has the stages from 95,96,98,99,fatal fury 1,kizuna… it’s awful -_-
No way, those games had awesome stages, so it’s good to see them make an appearance in other games. Although some of the earlier ones do look a little strange with the new sprites.
I appreciate the effort, but I don’t think it’s a very good video for 2000 (improvement over the Joe video at least). Too many are just small combo xx striker xx DM/special, even in situations where you are using a striker that lets you start another combo with normals. Even so, I thought your Kula w/ King and Takuma w/ Syo combos were pretty fun. If you’re interested in making some seriously good videos, you need to get on to tool-assisted input. Let me know if you are and I’ll link you to some good resources.
Yes those stages are good but they look a little weird in 2000 due to the fact that the sprites are a little different from the original ones.
About the combo video, i know about tool-assisted stuff but to me a combo video should show what u can do without any tool-assisted or macro. I mean during a match u can’t use those kind of thing… so what’s the use?
Sure with the help of those things u can show what the game offers, but there is no use in a match. At least it’s just my opinion. A lot of combo videos i watched show a lot of things impossible to make in a match (due for situation, for bug, etc),or at least not for me (not everything,eh… some are possible)… sure they are awesome to watch but i can’t find the use ^^
Thx anyway!
Yeah, I liked that second one better because you’re not using strikers multiple times per combo. Just one per combo is better imo.
imo this game is good especially when it played with striker off.
snk makes seth, vanessa, lin, hinako, kula so good, and their playstyle quite diverse.
started playing this game… i kinda like it. a little on broken side but still fun
i use k/lin/iori if anyone wants to go on ggpo

Who are the players? I can’t translate those…
me neither…dunno any korean… just took the name from the source i found.
I’m learning a team of Kyo, K’, and Iori. I would like to know some of their attack strings and combos. Also, what striker should I use? I’m thinking Vanessa or Joe.
And is there a Home mode? If so how would I access it (on ggpo’s emulator)?
Goofiness:One of Kyo’s supers looks a lot like FALCON PAWNCH! in this game.:razzy::lol:
go with joe for that team. both k’ and iori’s best striker is joe. kyo is decent with it too.
some striker combos:
iori:
off any untechable knockdown: [BC, run up CD, hcb f+P, run up close C, f+A, qcb+P*3]xN
k’:
off midscreen untechable knockdown: [BC, close D, f+A, dp+C]xN (i think)
off corner untechable knockdown: [BC, hop CD, crouch B*3, qcf+C f+D, f+A]xN
kyo:
off corner untechable knockdown: [BC, close C, f+B (2 hits), qcf+DD, rdp+B]xN
for home mode on ggpo/ggpofba, you need the correct bios. after you obtain it, hit ctrl+f5 and set console to AES then F3 to restart the game. make sure you change it back before exiting the emulator or you will desync with most people online.
actually now that i think about it kyo can prolly do sick stuff midscreen with that j2C of his. try and experiment with ending basic juggles with it and calling joe to continue.
nice matches
also lol
clark + dong striker
(whatever) gattling attack > napalm > follow up > dong > napalm

What’s with Korea and KOF 2000?
I can remember watching old vids back in 2001 of them playing high level KOF 2000. They where also the Tekken Tag Tournament superpower at the time as well.
It’s like they’re stuck in a time warp over there from 1999 to 2001. With Jang Iksu forever rollerblading around orange pilons after his time in the army.
