This actually works well even on deeper cross ups. Pause at :15 ~ :16 to see how far he really moves forward. I use it in matches every so often so I know for a fact that it is actually useful and can be applied.

Standing medium punch is good, but its not always the answer either.
The thing I posted is obviously fairly risky, jump back fierce I’d say is the best in that situation.
