In the first match you tiger shot then fwd step kick his demon flip and it whiffs. Just wondering if there is a specific reason for it. No hating by the way just wondering.
If I recall, both times he does the F.RH almost at the same time Gouken jumped, which leads me to believe he was trying to kara his next fire ball but was just ever so slight of the timing.

Heavy, I struggle so badly trying to remember I can cr.lp after the cr.mp! On counter hit I’ll get it all the time, other wise I’m not the best at it. How long did it take for you to get that down? Great vids!

nah i know you aint hating bro its all about making our game better one of them was a failed kara tshot the other one i did near the end i didnt cancel into kara uppercut quick enough dont have enough gouken experience against his demon flips so yea lols.
@Tiger slap thanks man. in regards to the light punch its just part of my muscle memory i even do it in block strings as its a good way to beat ppl who spam light attacks so for example: i clk they block im in +3 and my cmp comes out in 5 frames so if i do it right away its 2 frames so i win then if they block im still in plus one because cmp is +1 on block (if u didnt already know that) then clp comes out in 2 frames because of the one frame advantage. i just made it part of my muscle memory it’s like a ritual. and if your getting counter hits on cmp you should try to go for another cmp after its great damage or even cmk if the distance is futher.
dont get frustrated just keep practicing until its just second nature it took me a bit but can’t remember exactly.
Nice sagat there. Liked the J.RH into c.HP for the frame trap and landed a nice combo. Pretty solid, altough your opponents were kinda weak bro. You pretty much trashed them and they didn’t know how to fight back
Ok finally have some videos to get wrecked. First is of me actually winning against an A ranked Cammy player, but it was just an endless battle. Looking back over these videos makes me realize just how bad of a habit I have with focus attacks. Gotta cut tthat shit out.

Next is of a buddy of mine from Arkansas that blows me the hell up with his Rog. Any help against his st lp. It wrecks my shit so bad. I don’t even know what to do. I also find myself using focus a ton against him because im so use to balrogs using their fierce normals alot. Go ahead and rape these videos. I really am trying to get better by going to tournys and practicing all my ins and outs. Working really hard on the kara tigershot os. Thanks fellas.

you gotta keep rog out bro imo. more tshots and mixup your pattern more. if you allow him close when you have no meter its in his advantage as all his normals are better then sagats. on his wake up when he has ex meter i dont go into clk or cmp as u will get hit like you did in the 1st vid. if he has no ultra he aint gonna ex headbutt on wakeup and if he does the damage is minimal i often go for the throw and it throws them outta of it even cross them up and kara dp or watever their whiff. also i think your using too many stand heavy kicks a better balrog will sweep you on reaction. i could only watch the 1st vid as i’ve tried a couple of times and the second vid plays up on yt

Do focus attacks for a reason. Don’t just throw them out because you have nothing else to do. If you do a focus and he throws out a sweep, dash in and throw him or something. Or release it and punish.
Wouldn’t mind a bit of advice myself. I’ve picked up the Gat as an alternate in the last couple of months as a break from Fei Long, I only really put in about a days worth every week. But how am I going…?
My feelings are I want to move backwards a hell of a lot. Is this normal and is Sagat best played as a Counter/Defence as opposed to an offensive character? I feel I want to stand my ground, but something makes me move back…
