Stop wake up TUing, and stop wake up ultraing, block, learn hit confirming.
You would get shitkicked against anyone who just blocks your wake up shenanigans.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WALK WHERE YOU WANT TO BE ON THE SCREEN!!! STOP JUMPING EVERYWHERE! Gouken, ibuki, and guy all have terrible wake-up game before they have meter. You should be pushing them into a corner so you can control the spacing. Instead you were JUMPING as far away from them as possible, and allowing them to reset and do what they want.
Okay, I tried to block more often, stopped with so much of the “Wake up shenanigans.” and stopped hopping backwards as much (although I still found myself doing it once in awhile out of habit.) and these were a few of the more “successful results”. Still needs a lot of work. I think I spent to much time concentrating on blocking and punishing I neglected my instinct to throw out more anti-air.

That actually looks like a huge improvement! Now, if you start implementing his combos, especially his FADC ultra combos, you will be in a whole new league. Hit that training room for a little while each night before you hop online. Once you get comfortable with a combo in training, start looking for opportunity to land it in a match. If you drop the combo, no big deal, just go back into training after the match and practice it like 10 more times. Then you need to start learning what punishes what, so you can deal out maximum damage in a match. Finally, you need to learn to react to jump ins and hit them with a TU, NOT a TK. Tiger knee is a great tool, but it only does like 40 damage compared to HP TU does like 100-180, depending on where in the animation you connect.
Work on that for now, and keep those feet grounded. Sagat doesn’t need to jump very often.

I have the best Sagat in the US imo i have been saying this for a bout a year now but i learned almost everything from Alioune/Mago hence why i wear those Sagat colors.
Jesus murphy, your Sagat shows a lot of Mago style but with American rush down style added in there. Good stuff!
PS: I noticed a lot after you Uppercut FADC, you don’t connect forward Roundhouse. Is it because you don’t wanna risk not connecting it?

Sagat still is really good imo ive learned alot with him and no my sagat is no where near Mago/Aliounes but its solid tho
I think you just have a very unique style to your sagat that sets you apart. I throughly enjoy your matches and try to learn from them. You always got me cheering for you on the streams, keep it up and good job on showing your beastness with sagat.

Was gonna put this in some kind of glitch thread but here’s a match I had online the other day. I was playing gouken as I’m doing the C to shining C achievement. Playing against a Sagat and an interesting glitch happened when Sagat activated Ultra 2.
