With all due respect, you play sagat like a monkey fucks a football… The first round, you made a huge mistake in trying to sweep her after she slid in(I think it was a sweep, that or CR HP). Your sweep is way slower than almost all of her attacks, so you definitely shouldn’t have just thrown it out like that. Second. I think you ate EVERY single one of her cross up kunais… fix that! You also shouldn’t be throwing tiger shots out like that when she has meter to slide right through it. Stop mashing uppercuts, start blocking low against her when she is full screen that way you can block and counter her slide, and don’t mash out ultra out of desperation… it’s just gay

Well shit… first of all I would like to say EmblemLord, you are truely inspirational! I learned so mucIh from those three dud vids. I can see I’m on the right track against dud, you just might have filled in the pieces : )

Anyways I posted about having trouble with a couple matchups in the matchup thread, and they said to post some vids to show what I was doing, so here they are(well the dudley matchup anyways) I feel like the dudley vid is a good nutshell vid of how fights go against him…

I post these in hopes of getting some solid info, and to show you what my Sagat has turned into after a month, because alot of my play style is based off of info and vids I see from here.
Next thing, I feel like I have really good reaction and can read my opponent really well/adapt really well. And pretty much anytime you see a crouching fierce when someone jumps in, well thats a DP!
Also I’m getting way more familiar with his normals but still am not quite on point with them yet. But watching EL’s vids answered my question about what do I do to be safe after a Jumpin.? This is honestly why I have been getting hit/combo’d alot the past couple of days, and you can see it in the vids here, that I am uncomfortable with what to do after a jumpin.

Please any info… and tell me if you guys aprove on how I go about playing him?

Ryboy, matches look good for the most part. Two things I’d say in general: A few times you’d hit confirm a TU, it would be blocked and you’d still TU. FADC on block or stop the combo would be my suggestion. Second, a lot of players do this but, jumping around so much. You seem to do well with this when you’re closer, but at mid to full screen you really jump around a lot. Feet planted on the ground should help you out a bit too.

Good zoning with Tiger Shots, and good with pushing people away with TKs.
