whos good in this game…i dont want to try
Pretty much every character is good, it depends on your type of characters you like to play with, but if you haven’t played a KOF before I would definitely use Kyo,Terry and Robert for beginner characters.
I finally have this game as well. Connections seem okay if you can find 3 bars at least thats what ive found, Evan, and Eternalblaze we should definitely play some!

How is the online for this playing with relatively local players? People have said “seem okay” but I dunno what that means exactly, since people have different tolerances for lag and mine is quite low. But KoF games are what got me into fighting games to begin with, and it’s always been one of my favorite series; if I can get good matches in I’d be very happy, since I just adore this game. Though I do have a decent amount of locals to play with offline.
Umm if you have low tolerance I will say that good connections are probably worse than umvc3 good connections. Greenbar seems like the best yellow bar in sf4…
I play against Gene all the time and he lives in Everett and I live in Portland and we play just perfect online.

Honestly I haven’t been able to get a good feel yet for how online “should” be in regards to geographical location. The only time I’ve ever seen a 4-bar connection was to Zony who also lives in Portland. Even playing Kwyjibo who lives in Salem which is like ~40 miles away came up as a 3-bar. Not that it really matters because it depends on the connection itself, and both of them were similar - very playable, but you could still feel just a tiny bit of lag.
Actually one weird problem I’ve had with this game is that when playing a session with someone you might find the amount of input lag actually start to change as the session goes on. Like it might feel relatively lag-free the first game you play but then a few games in there’s a noticeable increase in lag. Maybe I’m just imagining things but I doubt it.
I’ve felt the lag increase when u keep playing as well, its like the server dies on you or some shit… but usually remaking the lobby will reset the lag --

Cool, i had so much fun learning this game while doing trials then when i went online, kinda deflated my excitement…I’ll add you when i get on & hopefully get some games

Yes you can! So st.c,f+a xx qcb+c ~ st.a xx hcf+BD, st.c,f+a xx qcb+C, dp+c does 403 which is about 43 more damage than if you did st.c,f+a hcf+BD at the start of the combo.
And you can link a St. DD after taht which can lead to the usal HD loop.

Finally got my 360 version (so I’ve double dipped) 
And I’m finally putting in the practice time despite my current Battlefield 3 addiction.
