I think the whole “Joker/his goons raped Barbara” thing comes from an early draft or something like that where he mentioned some stuff about it before it was changed for what I guess is either not fitting or being too much. So people probably take that, and how there’s some ambiguity and feel like something more happening to her is ‘implied’. Whether it actually is and that was still the intention, who knows.
If Hamill really is back then I’m hyped. Especially if they really let him go to town. Mark has gone on record saying that he’s been wanting to do a proper adaption of the work for a LONG time.
As long as they don’t tone down the darker parts of the book. Keep everything and let the work stand.
While great, I always got the feeling that the Hamill Joker was restrained a bit because of censors. (except for maybe the BB:ROTJ one) A killing joke adaption is the perfect chance to let him go all out.
so hamil wanted to do a even darker version of joker? dude is more into character than I thought…he had some dark moments in the justice league too that probably slipped by sensors
from the synopsis killing joke was just joker shooting a unarmed white woman in the spine and trying to get bats/gordon to go over the edge and break the no kill law?
That is still my favorite Batman movie of all time, contains hands down the best joker laugh anyone has ever done. Warning: end of movie spoiler!!! [details=Spoiler] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm_GPkOfVKI [/details]
Huh… surprised no one caught and posted the Twitter announcement from Warner Bros. from the New York Comic Con that they’re giving the go-ahead for this animated flick to be R rated.
Like, dayum. So Batgirl titties, right?
i think its sumtin a bunch of people decided with the plunger being there. this movie i think came out around the same time as the dude who got sodomized by the nypd with a plunger so i think me and my friends kinda decided thats why the joker had that shit there with all the other torture devices.
