I have seen some people online claim that she was, but I don’t think that is the Joker’s style. I read the story a long time ago, and I don’t remember rape even being implied at any part of the story. He is a psychopath and all of that, but I don’t think he would find rape funny.
Joker didn’t rape babs. The most he did was shoot her and take nude photos of her to fuck with Gordon, who, with batman was his main target in the book.
Joker’s MO isn’t to rape people. I only recall Joker doing that once and it was in Azzarellos Joker book.

Even if Jason was voted to be killed the point remains that when brutal violence is perpetrated against men it’s just the joker being joker. It only becomes a issue when the target is women cause as we all know it’s sexist when it happens to women.
Bleh. No clue why people are so excited for this. Wake up and smell the coffee: The Killing Joke is BAD. It’s at best a highly mediocre little comic book. The premise itself - Joker trying to show Batman and Gordon how just one bad day can be all it takes for someone to snap - is great. You could make something really good out of that.
There’s one problem with it though. In the execution department. The problem is hammers, more precisely the writers’ insistence of hitting me in the face with one every other page or so because I’m apparently too stupid to get what’s going on otherwise. There is not a hint of subtlety anywhere in sight, the comic fails to be unsettling the way it was probably meant to because Joker narrates everything down to the movement of the fleas in people’s heads and that one moth stuck in Batman’s cape. Someone lifted a finger? BETTER TELL IT TO THE READER AND HIGHLIGHT ALL THE MOTIVATIONS BEHIND IT. The Joker’s constant, dry, almost academic exposition and audible repeating of the “one bad day” gimmick robs the idea of any tension and horror it might otherwise have, making it both unbelieveable (because of how Joker actively sabotages himself) as well as just plain tedious to read.
