i assume it’s a mikado-related blog, and it talks about the jojo ettiquette. ankh ban, infinite bans etc. since i don’t speak any japanese, i can’t really understand much of it.

about the three bans, it says:
anku is banned (what is anku?)
demu loop without a (stand) crash is banned (??? what’s this?)
infinite is banned but difficult ones are allowed (how do you tell which ones are easy or difficult?)

Never heard about the Ankh ban either, related to Abdul?

“Demu” is either short for tandem or you missed the first part, you can’t combo more than one of them unless it Stand crashes. How does this work btw? I mean, a crash at any point makes a second tandem fair or does it have to be like on the last hits?

Hard infinites are those 1-2 frames loops people will mess up on their own without the need for artificial rules. I suppose Anubis Polnareff’s rekka loop is one of such.

it’s the typical jojo etiquette, it’s cool that we basically guessed it right without ever reading it:

  1. the ankh ban means the “ankh’s hard heat”, a currently unknown bug that dio in akiba told us about
  2. tandem loop without stand crush = you can do combos with multiple tandems, those are banned, 2 tandems are only allowed if you stand crush.
  3. hard infinites allowed (dio 236C loop etc), easy infinites banned (dio, pol & many other corner infinites) btw, afaik anubis pol infinite is easy enough to warrant a ban.

edit: about pots question: after a tandem ran out, you can not do another one for a fixed amount of seconds. if you do a stand crush combo with dio, then 5B, tandem, it will not work. however, if you go for the full 2A,2A,214A loop into tandem again, it takes long enough and another tandem is available. this can be repeated infinitely.

think its that avdol bug with the srk super that gives you about 3 seconds of inis frames i cant find teh video anymore but ive seen it in action

“currently unknown” means nobody knows what it is in the west, including me. dio in A told us its name, but he couldnt show me since we couldnt connect.

edit: just played around with the ankh. after placing it, abdul has some invulernability, while he can move. so you can simply walk through attacks for a little while. however, i doubt this is the bug, since this always happens is not that big of a deal (although it’s nice to know).

so thats what currently unknown means!

seriously tho, I figured if you spoke about it, you would have at least some idea what the glitch/bug/whatever involved. guess not.

So I was messing round with Polnareff today and I was wondering, what’s the best way to use his Tandem? Should I be using the lunge attack or the off the wall attack?

ABC x N. never do tandem just like that, only when it combos. good players will counter super you after your tandem freeze or just block & guard cancel.

Generally want the wall attack to be setup with A3. After it’s setup, or while Chariot is heading towards the wall, you can do a few different things to insure a clean hit and lead to a tandem. I generally dash in with cr. A2, sometimes even combo in another cr. A2 depending on whether or not I want Chariot to leave the wall or not. But after your dash in cr. A2, Chariot should hit your opponent, while the hit is happening you need to dash in yet again, this time with a cr. A3, and lead up with another cr. A3 which will be your link to a tandem combo. The best tandem to do in that case is about 4 loops of A B C. I know you can do much longer tandems than that, but I haven’t experimented much simply because my fingers aren’t very fast at inputs within that short amount of time. So i’ll experiment later sometime to figure out how to make a tandem loop that won’t mess up after the 4th loop. And by that, I mean you don’t get million pricks move to come out during your tandem which will mess up your combo.

wat version do u guys play on GGPO or w/e that great client is called. like for wat system.
