So I’ve decided to embark on a quest to become a pokemon master/hol horse master. So what should I be doing ?He seems like runs away most of the fight and shoots from a distance or trying to catch someone in his traps…
Am I going about this right?
Can anyone answer my previous post?
I just tested something. Dash D+A, A isn’t chain-able. I even tried with emulator autofire and it didn’t chain. Also, dash A, A cannot be chained. I saw some people doing dash B A, but it won’t chain for me!
oH NOES
what char you’re talking about?
if it’s about jotaro: dash a, a can be linked: the dash a has to hit with the last “hitting” frames, like hitting meaty. you just have to use it from max distance, then it will work.
i’d just use dash 2a/5b -> 214b in loop then tandem.
I guess you can link it then. My problem was that I was too close when I dashed. But you just can’t chain dash B, A. I also saw someone chaining dash B, c.C.
I’m no expert, but learning his Bnb combos can only make u better. And yeah I’m pretty sure he’s a keep away type.

Okay I’ve been watching all the combo videos I could these last few days to get a list of all the possible combos for Polnareff (especially the impossible fancy ones) and I came across one talented crew of combo video makers who put out a DVD for the game which I can’t find (i REALLY wanna buy it now ). But anyways, back to my point, and I’ve been trying to figure out something that horribly horribly bothered me about one of their combos. Around 01:34-01:36 (yes, two seconds) they manage to link a cr. A3 (in stand mode) to the rapid press move (million pricks, in normal mode) and it combo’d
??? Now I’ve heard of combo’ing into stand mode, but combo’ing out from that particular hit seems highly unlikely if not, impossible. How is this being done? AtTheGates, do you have any thoughts about this? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a good lil while, replicating the move in a sense.
my question is, did an actual dvd ever get released for that, from them? i dont remember ever hearing about it?
Geezer I got you covered, its a tandem. Rewatch the segment and you notice the super bar dropped from Max to 9. They added a tandem into the combo but cut it out of the video. I watched this video many times and I notice they do a lot of editing and removing in the video.
I love this song too, I have it =D
who knows, could also be a bug? they do it several times, looks like they cancel stand 2C into stand off attacks, which sounds impossible.
so yeah, they are either “cheating” or using a bug we don’t know about ^^
i hope its the latter.
I think seriously it’s the qcb + S then really fast qcf + S trick glitch. That’s the only way i can see this happening. Especially since Dio observed the bar go down one level, then i am now 100% sure that’s the glitch in use, which makes this combo impractical/impossible
impractical maybe. Impossible, not really. We play on computer… just do it the cheap way haha aka short cutting the command to a single button. Hey, ryukendenX does it.
I gotta say again, GGS to everyone I played lately. Its fun to play JJBA again, I just need to get better
It’s impossible…:nono:
YOU NEED A STICK SON!!! Wanna see how much better you get when you start using pro equipment
How do you chain more than several C attacks in a row in one tandem combo?
I don’t use autofire or anything else online. I’m just using it solo to see whether some moves can connect or not. So, shut up, I can kick your ass in JJBA.
Meikyousisui is known for doing tool-assisted (program pad) combo videos. It wouldn’t surprise me if you’re correct and that trick is an input glitch that is impractical. They do show tandem startups in the other parts of the video so I’m inclined to think it’s not edited out. Well, anyway I doubt it’s a super that you can cancel either (like Jotaro), because they show the super flash when Jotaro does those. Though if it is an input glitch, the question is whether or not it’s humanly possible, but if it’s in Meikyousisui and not any match videos then yeah it was probably tool assisted.
oh snap son thems fightin words
