Yeah, Y. Joseph’s happens constantly if you simply crouchblock while opponents attack and you use C. It’s pretty funny, but more annoying than useful except a few situations. Partly because cr.C has a half-decent hitbox and it can prevent you from using it unless you manually stop blocking.
That’s why I was wondering about the Dio thing, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it occur except vs. CPU.
Oh, this is frustrating…I get that far and then the bubble vanishes. Anyone ever mess with this before?
try it vs. jotaro or abdul or blackpol. definitely works on those 3.

Guard cancels may be what you need (sadly), depending on the character you’re playing.
Guard cancel works fine but you know, with +150ms lag, it’s not so easy to use it, more difficult too to tech throw, punish what can be punish, etc… We tried to play together Korey yesterday but there was an error message before the game started, we should try to play later again

Happened to me every time. I need to learn throw tech so I can do it right on it. But GGPO isn’t working for me. I can never connect to a match, but I can spectate.
I wish I could help, but no idea what causes that sort of issue.
In other news, Stand Crash has been a bit more active lately, getting a bunch of recent updates thanks to (mostly) Cocoguts and ol’ 192.

Also regarding GGPO, just drop byt here more often, and if you can (like if you have to do something else) just idle in there a bit. Some of us idle in there a lot, but some move on and play other games if no one is around. if everyone does that…
