It doesnt work for me. Should i literally put in that sequence of buttons OR what i have changed the buttons to be.
Ex:
I have it set up as:
button 4 - A
button 2 - B
button 3 - C
Button 1 - S
Should i put in the code as : Up, down, left , right, S, B, C , A or the actual 1,2,3,4?? or Up, down, left, right , A, B, C , S , in the set up that ive switched it too?
p.s. Jotaros dashing link is rough, as bad as bish in VS.
S’a shame what they’ve done to the Eng ver. of this game. So many changes. I’m really close to jus’ buying the JP ver. becuase I can’t find it any onther way. Right now I’m playing a legit (manufactured) copy of the Eng Ver. It feels a bit different than most fighters… there’s a learning curve. Sucks that I don’t 'ave anyone to play against. Can anyone tell me anything to practice with Polnareff? Other characters I play ar Jotaro/Dio and Hol Horse.
If you’re on arcade stick, try using your left hand to piano A~B~C. It’s much easier to go in the other direction (C~B~A), and likewise easier to use your opposite hand to do A~B~C.
If you on pad…I dunno! You could maybe try the same thing with claw method.
I tried the piano method (with the right hand) and i just feel like im pressing it to slow, ill try the reverse method you said tonight (C~B~A). I might be that i just started playing jotaro somewhat right recently so my hand isnt used to having to do all the button presses needed to play him right lol
If you think you’ll enjoy it, I don’t see why not!
Yeah overall Jojo’s is kind of a weird game because there’s such a difference in ease of use between some characters. A lot of the ‘top tiers’ like Jotaro, Polnareff, etc. require some extremely good execution. And on the flip side characters like Anubis Polnareff, Young Joseph, or Khan are super easy to play relatively. It’s such a big difference that if two players start learning the game at the same time, if one picks a simpler character and the other picks a execution-heavy one, the person playing the simple one will dominate for quite a while. On the whole, the more advanced characters in Jojo’s make it one of the most execution-intensive games around.
