Damn i miss playing this game with you guys, least i have 2k2um to keep me amused though. I’m having a bit of trouble though on whether I’m doing decent enough damage, I think i get around 70-80ish damage with a Vanilla tandem and about 60 with Pol Pol-kun, anyone shed some light plox?
Sixty percent sounds about right for Polnareff. With that kind of damage, sounds like you’re really coming a long ways in the game. I gotta see this improvement :bgrin:
I’m still trying out new tandems to use, but haven’t gotten around to perfecting any. My fingers still need to get quicker with the wall dive tandems before I can test run them on actual opponents.
No no i meant the damage it displays in numbers in practice mode i think with polpol it’s only just around 50%, i guess i’ve got more training to do them huh? 
hopefully i’ll stop fucking around with krizalid and boot up jojo’s soon…(i’m going to miss krizalid )
does anyone play on GGPO? I wouldn’t mind a match or two. I main Jotaro myself but Avdol is mad fun too.

gg’s to Kizer, filthyrich, and Fayk. I need to make more time for this game. I have alot of practicing to do. Been coming up with flashy impractical combo setups while being bored at work but haven’t had the time to train and implement them.
FFM rumble was this weekend, a relatively big tourney in frankfurt, germany. subarashii brought his CPSIII for some jojo, but it died after a couple of seconds. completely. including the game. rest in peace =(

That seriously sucks (the breaking Jojos/CPS3) - suicide battery? At this point, aren’t there a few people who’ve found ways to potentially resurrect them? I don’t know much about them. =(

there’s a phoenix mod for CPSII, but none for CPSIII yet afaik =(
from what shi could find out, if the board dies, the game dies with it. which is pretty horrible. well, guess we gotta find a new japanese jojo for a dumping prize with a fresh battery, like the last one (boy were we lucky).
thats a pretty sad story, sorry for your guys loss, musta had some great times with it tho im guessing? will live on in the memories!

I hope you guys can track down another one sometime, it’s sad to think how many copies of the ROM are probably languishing somewhere, their suicide batteries slowly dying (to say nothing of other modes of failure!)

in other ( and less depressing) news, does anyone know where I can get my hands on jojo’s venture? I really wanna give this a shot due to it having more characters. Might be fun playing as Grey fly. It is such a tease that they have his stage in the updated version, but not him.
