I never worked at a fast food place but I’ve seen and hear some shit go down. A couple of months ago I go into a Checkers to get one of their $3 meals since I’m low on money. It’s a slow day so a manager and two female employees are there. I overhear their conversation and the manager taking about a dude he had fired for always being late and then not showing up for an entire week. Guy shows up the other day ready to work and manager informs him he’s been fired. He was confused by it and manager let him work that day despite the fact he was no longer an employee. Who the fuck does that?
