The THREE EX Power Stance Swaying Willlow combo was fucking beautiful sir.

Yeh, as I thought, you are always better off doing cr.HP instead of b+MP > LP in EX combos. Scales the damage down.

So…

Scaling works the same, if not worse than SF4 in this game so all those fancy target combos are harvesting optimal damage like Dudley players putting in extra links in their combos for flash.

According to that guide, the penultimate hit of Kazama Style 5 Hit Combo and Kazama Style 6 Hit Combo is +6, can you really link from those?

Yes. You can link into the Left Right Combo, which is special cancelable, or go into a tag chain from standing Jab.

I’ve been using cr.mp in almost every combo situation instead of cr.lp. Only two frames slower, better damage, same frame advantage, and a much better hitbox. Typical crouching bnb is cr.lk, cr.mp, st.mk/cr.hp (depending on distance), xx SS uppercut. You guys might want to look into replacing the jabs in your combos with mp, and see how it works out for you.

cr.HP has better range than cr.MP. And after a Swaying Willow crumple you only need to walk forward a pixel for it to get in range

max does some nice combos here, particularly the crouch dash sweep (?) tag cancel (starting at 1:10). didn’t know you could keep the combo going post sweep knockdown. :china:
