I wonder if this trailer basically confirms Guile as the first DLC character, not only that Combofiend posted a flashback of him and Nash as well⌠it does make sense for him to be the first one if Nashâs role will be pivotal to the story (pretty much guaranteed at this point).
About the trailer, damn that was more than I expected⌠now we have to see if the story itself will be good, but at least with the cinematic stuff it will already be a lot easier to understand compared to the previous SF games, so Iâm already excited for it.
EDIT: I know itâs a screenshot but Guileâs face looks a lot better than in SF4âŚ
So, this story chapter is the bridge between IV and III⌠Alex and Urien confirmed DLC, probably for later in the year after this story mode comes outâŚWeâll most likely get more story chapters every 1-2 yearsâŚ
Hold onto your butts, boys and girls, weâre probably getting a SFIII retelling.
Why would Boxer be in a military installing monitering Bison actions? Just doesnt fit the character, Boxer wants quick money. Im betting thats Guile with a new hair style.
Depends on the success of the game, but for now they confirmed only this Cinematic Story which ought to cover the gap in the timeline.
Any future Cinematic expansions released will most definitely directly re-write or overwrite SF3.
But I think Capcom are focusing all their resources on having one solid cinematic story for this era. We will still get plenty of individual character stories though.
Is that Bisonâs bodiless soul or is it an astral projection like Roseâs in Hawkâs SF4 ending? How will I sleep at night without knowing?
I also agree that FANG and friends seemed to have broken into HAGGARâS INVESTMENT BANK (stage ext. Metro City) and Bison decided to check up on them in that scene.
Hey guys, because this is so hype and unprecedented, weâre going to talk about it tonight on the radio show I do. Gotta give the thread a shout-out! Anything you folks would like to see discussed? Just let me know or tweet @geek_cred and Iâll put it in the show! Thinking about doing â5 things you donât know about the SF canonâ or something on the air too.
I have a strong feeling Chun-Li and Rashidâs battle will stem from a simple âmisunderstandingâ and theyâll likely help each other once they realize they have a common goal. The Bison/Necalli connection is really intriguing, though. From what we see, Necalli seems to be within that ball thingy. Iâm guessing Bison somehow found a way to summon it to land on earth. Both Ryu and Sim most likely sensed Necalliâs power and knew he wasnât from that world.
While Bison craves pure power, I could see him actually controlling Necalli and using him as his own personal weapon. Maybe to absorb the souls of others and somehow give that power to Bison. Thereâs always the possibility of him wanting Necalliâs body for himself, too.
I liked how that explosion knocked out the power throughout the city. Bisonâs like âif I canât have fun, you fuckers canât have fun, either!â
Iâm really hyped after watching that trailer. Itâs going down for real in V. All doubt about Capcomâs efforts into the story should be out of the window now.
