More Bipson. That thing on his chest is looking more like a scar now. In fact, starting to look like a Super Bison rather than a Final Bison (It’s not an S, it’s a symbol that means Hope on his home planet).
My gut tells he is definitely gonna be on fire cuz of the purple skin (look below his skin turns same color when on fire). Not a fan of the gi-looking top. I would rather they went along with the evo panel sketch and have him topless but not hatless.
The others are also being rendered more smoothly now.
Call me crazy, but after looking at the alt outfit of Rashid, could part of his backstory be something like Aladdin’s? Unless it’s just undercover, I don’t know if I necessarily see a wealthy guy wearing that. Or is he wealthy at all? But I wonder if he was originally poor, his missing friend possibly helped him out, and the friend has some value to Bison as like a scientist or he has some sort of power.
I guess this may answer how he has managed to live through the ages. He was frozen in stone… But someone awakened him. And we thought Ingrid and Oni were out there…
Well SF always dabbled with DBZ moments, or concepts/power levels that are so very out there relative to the established universe. However, just like how you never go full retard, one should never go full DBZ. Oni was full DBZ. Gill was full DBZ for his time, and Ingrid - Well most people still pretend she is not a Street Fighter.
With Necalli we most definitely are heading for another one of those DBZ moments, that it is almost becoming tradition to have them now. But DBZM should be seen relative to the context of their time I guess.
SF1 > SF2’s DBZM = Bison, Akuma later on
SF2 > SFA series’ DBZM = Bison (although this was kinda already established by the very popular non-canon SF2AM so not a true DBZM), Ingrid
SF2 > SF3’ DBZM = Gill, Twelve
SF3 > SF4’ DBZM = Oni, (Seth isn’t true DBZ because the ideas that make him up were already firmly established in the universe)
Now we have Necalli. What’s so DBZ about him isn’t his SNH, rather it is his backstory and his soul consumption shtick. This is really out there relative to the established universe. An actual ancient warrior awakened from a stoney slumber in a tomb under a waterfall in New Zealand or some shit like that, and he wants to literally eat Ryu among others.
Necalli could be to the SF what Ogre was to Tekken. It’d be funny, but I don’t think anyone wants ANG to be setup like T3 where Necalli gonna go to town and kill alot of the characters.
Rashid is a wealthy/modern Arab. His gadgets are a giveaway, where he combines pseudo-traditional garb with hi-technology (his jetback, sandals, eye and head gear). His SFV idea card also made note of his influential family IIRC.
