Maybe it’s just Bengus artwork. Laura has tan lines in her alt that’s not present in her character model. Karin and Ibuki’s dresses are shorter in the artwork.

Anyway, that Balrog stage has to be my favorite stage so far. It’s just so lively and colorful. It’s like the diner stage in IV, but actually interesting.

I enjoyed both the SF2 and Alpha 3 rendition of Balrog’s stage. I can happily say the same about V. So happy they brought one of the best SF stages back.

Now we just need Sagat and Thailand for Season 2.

You’re misinterpreting what he means and you’re getting events confused. Ryu scarred Sagat which in turn motivated Sagat to join Shadaloo in order to make it easier to get his revenge. He leaves Shadaloo after SFA2 after he see’s that Bison is basically using him.

When the Shadaloo agent approaches Sagat in the C. Viper trailer it’s on the terms that Sagat might want to rejoin, but Sagat has no intentions in doing that. Thus he tells him he doesn’t want to be on the side that grasps power at all costs, because he’s already been down that road and his scar is proof of that. Thus in order for you to understand why he won’t join, you have to understand the journey he had taken with his scar.

Bison goes even further than what Sagat would go for in order to grasp power, and that’s something he not only despises but also witnessed inside himself when he joined with Shadaloo on his mission for revenge against Ryu for the scar. So Sagat’s now a changed man and wants no part of Shadaloo and grasping power at all costs.
